Play Ball

I used the Apple Blossom kit papers for this one! And in case you didn't notice I also used Ashley's sketch again...because it's awesome! :) Other items on this are some thickers from the Passionate kit, new felt shapes from FP, and an old tag from Lil' Davis.

Scrap Your Crap PP Challenge

I did this fun Lil' LO (8x8) for my friends Simone and Greta's SYC PP challenge. You need to use 4 pieces of scrap PP, no cutting into a new piece of 12x12 allowed. Luckily I had my favorite MME paper scraps around so I got busy and whipped this out. I also used a Hambly Rub on to make my jounaling spot (on the back of a scrap of PP), A Jenni Bowlin felt floral, A SR chip circle and a MME rub on transfer.

First Grade

I thought these papers from the Apple Blossom kit would go well with my son's First Grade class photo. Plus I liked the idea of incorporating the apples for school. I also used a piece of journal paper from the MM journaling book and some chip letter I had left over from MS. I kept this simple....because I don't really know how to work with huge photos and it didn't need a lot of embelli's. I used the erase tool in PSE to block the names of the kids and school for privacy...those blurs aren't there in real life. :)

Bright Blue Paint

I used the Apple Blossom Kit on this layout about my most embarrassing moment. I added the star punchouts and buttons from my stash. What?! You want to know what my most embarrassing moment is? You can't tell by my pictures? LOL! Here is what the journaling says:

My most embarrassing moment to date has to do with this bright blue paint I bought to create a road on the wall of Owen's room. I had the paint in my car when I ran Jensyn to the Goodell's for a playdate with Monica. We were new to the neighborhood and excited we were getting to know this cute family. When we arrived I told Jensyn to hop over the paint can and exit the car on my side so I could help her with the door on their hilly driveway. I will never forget the complete shock and embarrassment I felt when the can fell out of the car and bright blue paint started running down their new driveway. I tried to block the paint with my hands and yelled to Stan to come help me. Luckily, he was outside washing windows and had his garden hose handy. I just bawled and stuttered apologies the entire time he helped me clean it up. I thought I had ruined their home. Stan was so nice to me about it. Fortunately the paint cleaned up after scrubbing at it for 30 minutes or so. It felt like an eternity to me. To this day the Goodells are great friends of ours and I'm thankful they were able to get past my ditziness!

More Apple Blossom Layouts

I told you I couldn't keep my hands off this kit! ;) Here are two more layouts from me!

I couldn't help but pick up the Madeline Kit in the awesome Spring Cleaning Sale. I had fun mixing a little bit of the Madeline in with the Apple Blossom Kit on this layout of my daughter. The green and blue buttons are from my stash.

I am so LOVING the brand new Apple Blossom Kit ! Yes, I know, I say that about every kit . . . but it's true! I have this kit spread out on my scrap table and the ideas are just swirling! Here's my first layout of many to come. Thanks for taking a peek!

Disneyland 2007

Using the new "Apple Blossom" kit papers on this fun LO! Finally a travel LO I like...lol!

I added a few extra things to this too. I used some black "Prancer" and cream "giggles" thickers, which I outlined with a red marker. I also added one sheet of the Jenni Bowlin mini papers for my jounaling. And I finished with a couple of left over red Heidi Swapp stars which I distressed.

Luke & Nick

I am still using the papers from the Hopscotch kit. I think this is my 6th LO and I still have enough for 3 more I think. Anyway, I also used some FP felts (love these!!), SR letters, SW fasteners, MM trims, an OA rub on, and some ranger ink around the edge.

Baby Me

Still using the Hopscotch kit up on this! This kit is FULL of papers. I also used my favorite ribbon from the MM Garden Party Trims which I edged with an awesome new find...Scrapworks fasteners (LOVE THESE!!). I also added some Jenni Bowlin felt florals, some American Crafts felt hearts, a page from the MM journaling book and a WeR word. One last piece was the AC pink floral border.

What Better Way

to use up some of the leftover papers from the awesome kit than to make cards. I made this one for a dear friend who is going through a rough spot right now!

You have to agree the patterned papers are so perfect!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this kit!!

The Kit That Keeps On Giving

This kit has the most amazing patterned papers! I have done Spring, birthday and a girlie layout. I did this latest layout in hopes that Spring will be here soon! I only added the dragonfly and the flowers from my own stash the rest is kit supplies.

More Hopscotch Layouts

Here are a few layouts I did for my niece using the new Hopscotch kit. The journaling is pencilled in so my SIL can add it using her own handwriting. (My niece is 8 years old now, thus the privacy square . . . I don't want her to die of embarrassment and hate her Aunt Jana! LOL!)

I love how adding a sheet of orange cardstock and some black outlining can take these papers to a summer-y feel! Really fun kit! I can't wait to play with it some more!

Hopscotch Kit

I am loving the pattern papers in this kit. I have had these photos of my grandson since his last birthday opening his gifts. Can you telll how excited he is? But these papers in the kit are just perfect!! I added Elsie Gel Stickers Toby, and a Maya Road Office Sheer to my layout.

Fun!

Just wanted to share a couple of things!

First off, Kaaren from PamperedScrapper.com ordered a kit a few weeks back, and put a review up on her site. This is such an awesome resource if you are a buyer of kits, or someone interested in doing so. Go and check out her site, and I'm so happy she was pleased with the kits I put together! Thanks Kaaren!

Next up...my buddies Greta and Simone have started a super fun scrap challenge blog called Scrap your Crap. And they have asked lil' ole me to be a "Queen of the Crap" in April! LOL!! So be on the lookout for my upcoming challenge! I'll be posting it here of course for anyone who would like to join in. And be sure to check out their fun challenges. I wish I had more time to scrap because they are coming up with some great ones!

Homemade Farm

Jana's 'Animal Magnetism' Challenge was in deed a challenge, we're a pet-free home! :D Then I remembered all these cute craft projects my 4 yr old brings home from Pre-K....cha-ching!! I had a zoo in my house after all!

I used the Fancy Pants and Imaginisce papers as well as the Jenni Bowlin journaling card and cardstock from the Madeline Kit! The strip of BG Mellow, MM ribbon, twine and alphas came from my stash. Oh, as well as the Pig, Lion, Owl, Horse, Penguin and Fish! ;)

Sweet Baby Jake

Using up all my Hopscotch...cause I LOVE it!! I added some extra Thickers and the BG letters that came in the SC kit. Also added some of the coordinating garden party trims, a bling blossom and pearl brad.

CS: NO CLUE, it was in my stash

American Craft Thickers Jewelry box chipboard letters and accents

HS: Silhouette Shapes

Madeline Kit Layouts

Hello all! I just got the Madaline Kit and it's SWEET! So much fun and yummy stuff to play with...here are a few things I made with it.

Everything for this layout came in the kit! I love the Fancy Pants paper, and the foil gives it a nice blingy touch!! :)

When I saw the Fancy Pants die-cuts I had this card in mind! The twill ribbon and burlap were from my stash.

This one has made my favorites list! I used a few things from my stash; the ribbon, MM Die cuts, Creative Cafe buttons, HS chipboard and Foof-a-la paper. The Imaginisce, College Press and Fancy Pants complimented this layout so much!

And my last one for the day...I cut the Jenni Bowlin Die Cut from the inside and popped it on the white cardstock with foam dots, so it has a really cool dimension! I used the kit's Raspberry AC Marker to color in the hearts on the Cosmo Cricket chipboard alphas. The Turquoise felt heart and felt sprite from Creative Cafe are the only two items from my stash.

Thanks for looking!!

More Hopscotch!

Using more of the Hopscotch! I just love these colors so much! I had to break out some baby photos that were in much need of scrapping! In addition to kit products I used some crocheted flowers, and some Queen and Co. felt (although after I put it on I'm not to sure i loved it... :) oh well).

This one is all kit stuff except for one extra piece of ribbon I layered on top of the pink one. And yep...I used pink for a baby boy LO!! :)
