Hi everyone!! Happy Halloween!!! I hope you have some fun and spoooooky plans for tonight :) I'm stopping by to share some painted pumpkins, in case you missed them during the Spooky Saturday crop. I used the materials from the Masquerade Mini Album class kit to decorate these cute little guys. We're on Chapter 5 (embellishments) over in the class today, there's still time to stop by and catch up on making your mini album by clicking here.
I hope everyone has a fun (and safe!) Halloween today. I, for one, can't WAIT to see my little one dressed up in his astronaut costume-- I wish this day at work would go faster :)

Happy Halloween (a day early)!!
Hi there and good morning!
I made a couple Halloween cards with the Union Square kit.
It's not a Halloween kit per say.
BUT there are a couple stickers in there and some fun patterned papers that make it work!
Who says Halloween has to be just orange, black, and purple anyway??!
Don't you just love the sparkle that these Thickers have?!
One more!
I did throw a little orange on this one for fun!
:)
What am I going to do if this twine trend ever dies??!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Don't forget that January - June kit subscriptions are available for a little while longer.
Better get yours now!!
Have a great day!

Happy Place
Hello! Happy Monday!
I'm not a very good card maker and I have several friends that push me out of my crafty comfort zone. I was challenged to make at least one card per month. So I get used to the size and love of card making. lol I used Miss Nelson for this card:
Not loving the process or the outcome...BUT I will always try new things. I will make sure to share next month's card with you too! :)I'm not a very good card maker and I have several friends that push me out of my crafty comfort zone. More Project Life with Union Square PL kit!!
Hello everyone!! Happy Friday :) Today I am sharing another Project Life spread featuring the Union Square PL kit. I decided to create a 12 x 12 left side, and a 6 x 12 right side. Love that there are so many options of page protectors out there these days :) If you haven't grabbed this kit - there are still some in the shop!! The color scheme is perfect for fall & everyday pics :)
On the left side, I couldn't help but work in that adorable wood veneer little boy silhouette :) I'm a huge fan of the Basic Grey cards in the kit - they made documenting so easy :)
My left side was mostly photos, but I did work in one block of embellishing & journaling. Just adore the mix of letters in this kit :) As you probably know, I love to add in some bits of machine stitching on my work. I punched a few leaves and then stitched the veins on one of them - a great way to add some subtle texture :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Be sure to head on over to our Facebook page tomorrow for our Spooky Saturday Event!!! There will be lots of fun & inspiration!!!

Fall Decor Layout
Hi everyone! I am still working on scrapbooking *last* year's fall photos, are you guys as behind as I am? I took a bunch of Instax photos last year of the fall decor around my house: pumpkins, fall themed crafts that Charlie made, candy, etc. I decided to pull out last year's fall kit, Willow Creek, and get to work. I gravitated right to the Crate Paper tag cut outs and decided to make two banners on either side of my title, "Fall Decor at 16 Germania" (that's my address).
And don't forget to pick up your Halloween kit and sign up for the coordinating mini album class here! Happy Thursday :)

Everyday Awesomeness
Hello!
Veronica here with a pl page using Miss Nelson.
I am so far behind on my Project Life album...it's become overwhelming to look at the album on the shelf. So sad. I decided to tackle some pages. I usually use one page per week. This is for the week of June 2-8. See? So behind. I am determined to get this dang album completed!
I used gorgeous papers from the kit and a couple of stickers. I also used the sequence that Noel placed in a bag. These were perfect for his t-ball awards ceremony picture. I'm trying to keep my pages flatter than normal, because the album is BULGING! lolHow many of you are all caught up with your PL?

Sparring with Sparrow
I must say, I'm so glad that the concept of Project Life came along way before our first Disney trip, so that I had the freedom to have photos that are simply in sleeves, but still be able to mix in my full, 12 x 12 layouts in with them. If my photos were in a regular photo album- I wouldn't be able to do that. Nor would I be able to scrapbook all fifteen bazillion pictures from the trip (give or take).
I've decided to include in our trip album, layouts highlighting those special, magical moments that need a little more emphasis. One of these moments was when my son was selected by THE Captain Jack Sparrow to complete pirate training... and then sword fight with him. It was so awesome that I myself may have been jumping up and down and clapping.
While on first glance, October's Union Square kit may be primarily "autumn" themed, it really worked well with these masculine and rustic photos. My Silhouette machine helped make some custom pirate accents that really make this page special.
I tried to do a few nods towards nautical themes as well, with the banner and sparrow (get it? get it?!), that aren't as in your face as the Jolly Roger and other pirate themed accents.
The gold glitter tape gave the "Yo Ho Ho" accent an extra pop behind the cut outs.

Smile!
Just a couple of fun cards to share this morning!
I made both of these using my "Union Square" kit.
I love the variety in this kit and you can really see it in these 2 cards!
I started off making these cards with the same basic design.
Somewhere along the way I got off track!
:)
Have an awesome day!
And thanks for stopping by today!

The Best Day Ever
Hello everyone!!! I'm here this Friday to share my latest Noel Mignon Union Square layout!! I'll admit - when I first saw the Amy Tan "Word Up" patterned paper I thought - I like it, but how will I use it?? I always have difficulty with these types of papers, but once I got my creative wheels spinning, I found an option that I was super excited about :) I decided to cut patterned paper to "fit" inside each of the rounded rectangles on the page. Then I centered my photo in between these rounded rectangles.
I added some of those gorgeous gold rub-ons and then stitched down a few gold sequins. I loved the "hello" speech bubble, but my photo was covering some of it up. I decided to use my exacto knife to cut the bottom portion of the bubble, so that I could then tuck my photo underneath it :)
I couldn't resist sneaking in one of those feathers . . .
If you haven't used that paper from the kit yet, try it!!! It's a great way to use a fun mix of patterned papers :)
Don't forget - kit subscriptions for January 2014 through June 2014 are now available!! By subscribing you save $6 a month!! And of course, you'll receive a FABULOUS box of goodies on your doorstep each month :)
Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful weekend!!

Mini Album Sneaks
Hi friends! I'm sorry my post is so late, I've been very busy working on my Masquerade Mini Album Class! Here are a few new sneaks for your perusal :) (PS the back cover isn't finished yet as I'm still recording the videos!)
And of course since I'm teaching TWO mini albums in the class I thought it prudent to share some sneaks of the second one as well
This is the class syllabus, and if you have signed up you can expect an email tomorrow inviting you to the Facebook page and also including the Chapter 1 PDF. The class officially starts Oct 28th so there is plenty of time to sign up, and you can even add the coordinating kit to your regular October shipment (win!)!
Chapter 1: Introduction and supplies
Chapter 2: Constructing your mini album from a cardboard box and creating sturdy pages
Chapter 3: Specialty Pages using supplies like burlap, vellum, paint, punches, etc...
Chapter 4: Flip Albums: two different types of albums and closure ideas for containing flip albums within your mini for extra photo real estate
Chapter 5: Embellishment Techniques: ideas using journaling cards, making your own envelopes, and more
Chapter 6: Designing Your Cover: creating a unique burlap flower and a ribbon closure for your album
Chapter 7: Final thoughts and album walk through
If you'd like to sign up for the class click HERE and you can purchase the kit HERE. The price is super cheap for both a class (that has 6 videos and 7 PDFs) and a wonderful Noel Mignon kit, so it's a great deal! I've seen classes at Studio Calico, Big Picture Classes, and Two Peas in a Bucket with less content, no coordinating kit, and way more money ;)
Hope you see you all there! The more the merrier :)

You & Me
Hi there!
I've got another layout to share with you using my "Union Square" kit.
I really tried hard to embrace the white space on this page.
I really tried hard to embrace the white space on this page.
It's tough for me though!
Literally I had to just walk away to keep from adding more stuff!
:)
I did a bit of fussy cutting on this page.
I cut out the flowers & hearts from different patterned papers in the kit.

I used the American Crafts "&" stamp with the gold ink from the kit.
This gold ink is awesome!
This pic doesn't do it justice but it is really radiant and shimmery.
Just what you want in gold ink!

I had forgotten how much I love rub-ons!
And these rub-ons from Jenni Bowlin are to die for!
P.S.
Have you seen the sneaks that Cassandra shared for her mini album class that is coming up at the end of this month??!
