Coloring Eggs

Hi! I'm really excited to be working with the amazingly talented Noel Mignon DT this month! I've dug into my Sonoma County kit and am having so much fun with all of the goodies.

Since Easter will be here on Sunday, I figured I'd better scrap LAST year's pictures before I start taking new ones. These photos were taken the day my son colored eggs. I love the bright colors in Easter photos. Because the pictures had so much going on, I tried to keep my embellishments to a minimum.

I thought the Crate chipboard flowers paired with the Basic Grey bling were just enough.

The circles from the lemons in the paper and the large circle that I cut from the paper take the 'egg' theme one step further.

Just a couple of tips for taking 'egg dying photos'...
*Try to use natural lighting. We sat in front of the window.
*Take photos of the eggs as the kids are dipping them into the dye.
*Take a photo of the finished product - all of the eggs lined up in the crate.
*Try shooting from different angles.
*Don't forget to capture the cups of food coloring.
*Take more pictures than you think you'll need!
*Crop your photos close to eliminate any distractions in the background.
*Have your child wear neutral clothing so that it doesn't compete with
the colors in the eggs.

Thanks for stopping by and for taking a peek! Have a great day.
