fall love

Hey guys, Michelle here with a fall layout. And this layout isn't about a holiday or event. It's simply a cute photo that I took a couple weeks ago. And for me, it kind of sums up my feelings about fall. We all document the special events and holidays but sometimes it's fun to just do a page about a fun photo :) 

What I may end up doing is adding a second page (maybe a pocket page) to go along with this layout with more fall photos of my kids/etc. I like to do that sometimes, we'll see.

I played with that stencil that came in the Golden Delicious classic kit (Daily Diary kit is still available). I simply took this Tim Holtz blending tool, dabbed on some ink (also from the kit), and applied using a circular motion (you could also use a dauber). 

Now, I am not a huge technique person so trust me when I say this is very easy to do!

What I like is that the paper that I applied the ink on is textured so it shows through in the ink from the stencil. 

And there you have it - a layout about nothing special, just a fun photo that has meaning for me and my most favorite time of year :)
