Gold & Turquoise

Gold & Turquoise go together like peas and carrots...as Forrest Gump would say :) Now I don't like peas or carrots but turquoise and gold together? That's a winner in my book!

I pulled out the Heart of Gold classic kit for this layout. I absolutely love Noel's February kits because while they have some nods to Valentine's Day they aren't all lovey dovey which means the kit can be used for a multitude of projects.

I started with the patterned papers that would work with my photos and then added that wonderful gold doily, gold ribbon, and gold puffy 'capture the everyday' sticker.

Side note: if you only plan on having half the doily showing on your page like I did, cut it in half instead of wasting the other half being hidden under your patterned paper!
 
I am absolutely in love with that label paper. I foresee myself cutting up a whole lotta labels for future projects!
