Some daily diary with a Weekend in Paris
Oh. My. Word. Y'all.
Have you purchased a Weekend in Paris kit yet? Have you? Have you?! This is quite my favorite kit in some time. It's like a mix of girlyness and Anthropolige to me. Love love love.
I am catching up with some older photos with this kit... and I ran out of adhesive, so today's shopping list is to grab some more so I can keep going tonight!
Isn't the layering of these colors just lovely? I love the splash of "paint" style on that card tucked behind the photos. P.S. Don't forget to scrap all those silly selfies! I'm glad I have these pics of me!
These cards are tucked into a page protector, while the Project Life card is adhered on top!
I love how these cards have typed sentiments on them already. It's like I had everything planned for me. Easy peasy!
Get yours here- and free shipping today if you get it before midnight!

Wrapping Up the Summer with High Five
Here in Alabama, it still FEELS like summer but we are getting ready to start back to school next week! Crazy, right?! It's got me looking back over some of the fun memories we've made this summer, so I printed a huge collage 8x10 print and cut it up to make this double page layout, showcasing some up these fun times.
The High Five kit was so perfect for adding lots of fun little embellishments and accents to this page. I loved putting it all together like a giant puzzle.

Monochromatic Pocket Pages!
The design team was challenged this week to do a monochromatic layout... so I thought, "I'll do it for my pocket page album for the year. Easy peasy! These pics from the Lion King Jr. are already pretty monochromatic, so it'll be easy to do!"
Um no. Wow. This is way more challenging than I thought it would be!!
I love how Becky mentioned in our Facebook group about how she uses the ribbon from the kits, so I took that idea and ran with it. It was a lot harder to stick to a simple color scheme for me than I thought it would be!
What have you done recently to challenge yourself? Did it work?

Project Life Cards from Sketches
Hey guys! This week we've had fun playing with sketches, and I decided that I'd like to make my own pocket cards using some sketches as inspiration! Below is my inspiration piece (and the link I found it on):
Using the awesome Dive In Daily Diary kit, these are the cards I came up with!
If you haven't picked up this kit, you should grab it. It's my favorite summer kit I've used! I love the retro vibe and the West Coast summer feel. :)

Dive In Daily Diary- Beach Trip Mini Album
Good morning! I finally was able to have all my technology cooperate so I could share with you all this mini album I made with the adorable and beachy Dive In Daily Diary kit! I also supplemented this with a pack of extra paper I purchased in the shop, and I'm so glad I did... it all came together so wonderfully!
My idea for this album was so that it was a small enough size so I could slip it into my pocket album for the year... check out the video at the bottom of the post to see how I did that, and a whole flip through of the album!

Dive In to ... Beach Time!
Y'all- this Dive In Daily Diary kit is EVERYTHING you wish for in a summer kit! It's got palm trees, flamingos, pineapples, bathing suits, coconut drinks... oh man. It makes me want to go back to the beach right now!
I like to create these simple one page layouts to break up the design in my pocket page album. It feels more like a traditional layout, but in miniature size. It's really fun to play with proportion on these pages too, as with fussy cutting some of these extra papers I picked up from the shop to coordinate with the kit.
Oh I almost forgot! Through Monday, you can get TWENTY percent off of this cute kit! Dude, there are only four left, so go get it for yourself! (Just enter DD20 at checkout!)

Wild & Free- Arrow Sign Project (Spring Fling Kit)
It's been a while since I made a project that's not a memory based page, so I thought it would be fun to make something out of this small hook/frame that I found in the clearance section of Hobby Lobby.
I love making rough paper piecings... the raw edges, the crooked lines... it speaks to me. Something there is very handmade looking to me, and I love it.
The Spring Fling kit had so many lovely "free spirited" bits in it that made this the perfect project. I'm hoping to redecorate my two youngest daughters' bedroom this summer with an "adventure/free spirit" kind of vibe to it. This sign will be perfect for them to hang some jewelry or purses from.
I hope you enjoyed my little project! Next up: summer time pieces with the new Dive In kit (5 left!)

My Loves- Spring Fling Stamping fun!
Good morning my ladies! I'm working with the beautiful Spring Fling kit... and I absolutely LOVED the stamps in the kit this month and wanted to feature them on a layout!
I used a combo of fussy cutting, stickers, and stamping for this cluster of embellishments.
I wanted to make a fun border with the word stamps - I love how it turned out! Have you used your stamps yet?

Spring Fling- flinging embellishments all over the place! ;)
Happy Mother's Day Weekend!
I have a lovely layout using the Spring Fling kit for you this morning... this kit is so versatile! I love that it is soft and feminine but also spunky and bright! I wanted to go more spunky for this layout of my middle daughter.
I was inspired by an odd shaped scrap of paper laying on my table to make this sunbeam embellishment. The yellow paint in the kit was the perfect accent between the rays, too!
I loved playing with all the fun embellishments in this kit and just scattering them along the side with a few painted hearts. Outlining them all in black made them pop off the page!
This is the perfect weekend to treat yourself! Head on over to the website and pick up something lovely for yourself! (And there are four Spring Fling kits left! woohoo!)

Explore... Under the Stars...Adventure
I have one last layout for you from the awesome Let's Get Lost Daily Diary kit... I had all these leftover scraps of cute "adventuring" embellishments, so I whipped up a quick two page spread for my pocket album. The photo & layers in the middle actually pop into the binder itself, so they are like a mini page or flap stuck in there in between the bigger pages.
I've been busy working on some pages using the new Delightful kit this weekend... and my reveal video as well! I can't wait to share them with you!
