And This Is Why Noel's Kits are a Fantastic Value!

Happy Monday everyone! Danielle here to share with you the last 2 spreads I created using my Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit!
(I will show you all 5 weeks of projects at the end, so you can see what a great value the kit is, and how much you get in it!)

There are so many great cards and embellishments in this kit! And the colour palette was perfect for Autumn!

I loved those awesome Tim Holtz phase stickers that came in the kit! And I love that Noel included the whole pad, all 6 sheets!

I used my Zing Embossing Powder in Copper glitter on this cute wood veneer.

I added that super cute owl from the Imaginisce dimensional sticker sheet to a journal card, then stitched in to another card to create a custom 4x6 card

more fun stickers and stitching

and now let me recap all the projects I created using the awesome Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit
Here is the kit
and here is everything I created with it!

And would you believe I still had some product left over?! Check out Noel's Kits HERE

Mistletoe & Holly: It's Snow Fun!

Happy weekend, Friends! It's Jana Eubank. This weekend we got our first little skiff of snow on the ground here in the Utah which, of course, immediately puts me in the holiday spirit! I'm so glad I had the Mistletoe & Holly Classic kit on my desk waiting for me to play!

I pulled out some pictures of my son last Christmas morning trying out some new snow gear.

IT'S SNOW FUN!

I chose to work with a warm, woodsy color palette for a more masculine feel. First, I began by using the Shimelle green paper as my background and then added a strip of the woodgrain snowman paper by Echo Park Paper along the bottom. Then I used one of the cut apart Echo Park paper border strips across the seam ... this served as a great space to add my journaling!

I chose to create a digital die cut title for this page. I used a polka dot embossing folder on some of the letters. I love how polka dots remind me of falling snow!

Across the top of the photo, I added a group of birds hand cut from the October Afternoon paper along with a few die cut snowflakes. Aren't they cute?! I just love them!

Underneath my title I used one of the die cut frames from the kit to create a shaker box with the sequins. It's so cute! I know I'll be creating more of these for other projects using the chipboard frames and sequins from the kit!

I love when patterned paper has notebook lines printed on it already. It makes it so easy to add  journaling! I embellished the bottom of the photos with a few more sequins and diecut snowflakes, accented with wood buttons from the kit, ... and my page is finished!

Did you get to scrapbook this weekend? What project are you working on? Share it with us in the Facebook page. We would love to see!

Have a great week!

Golden Delicious Pocket Letter

Hello Everyone!  Michelle Zerull here with a Pocket Letter that I made from the Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit.

I have had a rough month this month and it seemed as if everything was going wrong. I haven't been feeling well and I found myself becoming sad and melancholy. Then, a few days ago, I walked outside and noticed that the sky was such a beautiful blue. And then I began to look around and I noticed so many wonderful things. My roses were blooming. In November! What a gift! Right then and there I decided to quit looking at the negative things and start focusing on my blessings. That day was the best day that I've had in ages. I felt so wonderfully grateful. And that is what inspired this project.
I love adding bits of vintage ephemera and watercolor touches. And I used up the last bit of the yellow ribbon that I'd been hoarding from a previous kit. I decided to share it instead of hoard it. I love the sunny color!

Thank you for letting me share with you today.
I hope that you have a wonderful day full of blessings.

Made To Create - You've Been Scraplifted, Crystal Butler!

Happy Black Friday! Did you do some shopping in the wee hours of the morning?

Today is one of my favorite days of the year! I stay in my pajamas, usually do some Christmas crafting, clean house, and decorate for Christmas! It's so fun and relaxing!

Today I'm sharing with you a wonderful layout from our friend Crystal Butler! She posted this during our fall crop, and I used the grid layout and embellishing as inspiration for my layout today!

I used what I had- 4x4 photos and lots of goodies from the Golden Delicious kit.

It was so fun to tuck in all these little goodies in here.

This whole layout celebrates a weekend retreat I went to recently... being reminded that we are ALL made to create. I'd forgotten that this year.. there's been a lot of time this year that I haven't had to feed that side of me, and I've felt pretty crappy because of it. It is not easy, but it is so important to be able to take a little time to do the things you love. The people around you enjoy it!

Member Scraplift---Jackie George

This week is dedicated to scraplifting our members...I really enjoy scraplifting layouts every so often. I created this layout using the "Golden Delicious" Classic Kit.

It is based off of the following layout by Jackie George...

When I "lift" a design, I typically copy it pretty loosely.  I'm not very good at scraplifting every piece, layer, and embellishment exactly the same.

As soon as I saw this combination of mint colored papers in the Golden Delicious kit, I knew EXACTLY which photos I wanted to scrapbook with them.  They matched my kids' 2014 Christmas photos perfectly!  I couldn't have asked for better color coordination!

I've decided to try to add little bits of my own handwriting as embellishments on my layouts.  This one I wrote "merry", "noel", and "love" and well as "2014".  I like the little added touch!  I need to keep practicing creative lettering so I can do more in the future.

Thank you Jackie, for sharing your work on our Noel Mignon Members Facebook page---you really inspired me!

I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow, I will see you all next week with another layout!

Members Scraplift Week

Hello Everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This is such a busy week, isn't it? Shopping, cooking, cleaning and traveling - I'm tired just typing that! The end result is so worth it - quality time with family and friends! It's a time to appreciate all that we have!
This week the Design Team is taking the time to appreciate our awesome Noel Mignon Members by scrap lifting a member's project! I decided to create a layout this week based on a member's layout. I stayed true to her design except I adapted it to a 8.5 x 11 format. I haven't created this size layout in a while and I forgot how fun it is! Here's my page using this Month's Golden Delicious Kits.
I based my layout on Julie Evers lovely layout. I loved her layering and design. Here's Julie's page.

Here's a few close-ups of my page. I layered lots of patterned papers and bent the edges to give the papers some dimension.
By layering lots of papers together it's easy to tuck embellishments in here and there! Here's a close up of the embellishment in the upper right corner of my page.
Thanks Julie for the inspiration and we appreciate ALL the members of our online family.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Be safe and have a great time with family and friends! See you soon!!!

Documenting Life with my Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit

Happy Monday! Danielle here,
to share with you what I created for
Noel Mignon this week, using the
Let me start off by saying I love the mix of October Afternoon and Simple Stories products! They work so well together!

Here is the left side of my spread.  I fell in love with the 4x6 couch card from OA! How cute is it?! I also loved using the Simple Stories sticker brads.  They add a nice dimension to the page but without all bulk!

Here is the right side of my spread. I did more stitching this week using the 3x3 OA card, and some of the pattern paper included in the kit.
I loved layering those adorable flowers with the sticker brad! For this "And now a word from our sponsor" card, I cut out the center of the t.v. and added my picture to the back of it, so it looked like it was a t.v. commercial.
And how adorable is that dimensional squirrel sticker?! Here I used another 3x3 OA card and stitched some paper to it again. I love the effect of the different patterns stitched together.

I hope I have inspired you to created something fabulous with you Noel Mignon Kits this week!

And don't forget, Noel only has a handful of this kit left!! You can find it HERE

Golden Delicious: Queen of the Kitchen

Hi Everyone! It's Jana Eubank. I'm back again today with another two layouts using the Golden Delicious Classic Kit.

In the photo, my daughter is wearing my favorite apron. I used it as inspiration in putting together the colors and papers for this page.

QUEEN OF THE KITCHEN

I placed the photo on the orange Echo Park "Pumpkins" paper leaving a larger border at the bottom, similar to a polaroid picture. To the right of this photo mat, I layered on a bunch of little flowers and bits in the corner for some fun detail.

To the right of the photo, I tucked in one of the 6x8 cut apart pages. I used the page as a place for my journaling on top of a fun mixed letter title (smaller letter stickers are from the Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit). I used the cut apart Evalicious labels, chipboard pieces, brads, and phrase stickers (also from the Daily Diary Kit) to create a little scene around the title. This was so much fun to put together!

HAPPY CAMPER

On this second page, I used the Golden Delicious Classic kit (sorry, sold out) to create an outdoorsy page.

At the top, I used a metal die and a stamp from my stash to create the layered tabs. It was the perfect spot to add the date!

I cut out the squirrel from the Imaginisce "Green Hill" paper and adhered him to the page with foam squares. He looks so cute accenting my photo (and covering all of that boring extra white space in the image).

The title was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo machine using an image from their shop. I cut the words twice, trimmed out every letter, and then adhered those letters to the first word layer with foam squares for dimension. The brad, sequins, and heart die cut from the kit add a little bit of fun.

See the brown paper that I used for the word "Camper?" That is actually from the product packaging for the Imaginisce stickers. It looks great here with the other patterns on the page.

The yellow journal spot, leaves, and "So Thankful" circle were all cut from cards included with the Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit

Thanks for coming by today! REMEMBER: Tonight is the Kit Reveal Party over on Facebook! I can't wait to see the December kits!!! I hope to see you there!
