I had a different take on the upcoming "Hometown" challenge . . . to put it bluntly, I have a love/hate relationship with the town I live in! The journaling is all about how I both loathe the smalltown cliques that won't go away and how I love it here because it's where my family and friends are. I also love it because I know where everything is, and those things are usually minutes away. Like it or not, it's home to me!

Nice take on the hometown challenge. I totally understand that feeling. That's kind of why I am "choosing" a new hometown. Where I grew up was super tiny and gossipy...but all my grandparents lived there and I had lots of friends.
Love your honest approach to this challenge, Ashley. I understand the small-town clique thing. I'm lucky that it isn't TOO bad where I am. ;) LOVE the big flower and photo corner, combined with the big word "not". Nice design!
