A trip down Memory Lane

Well it's Monday, a new day to start the week...and what better way than to purchase the Memory Lane kit. It is safe to say that when I opened my box of goodies I did a little squeal! Another awesome kit put together by Noel.

Well needless to say I started creating right away. This is the first layout that I put together:

It was the perfect paper for my 4th pictures. I printed out my favorite and made it a 5x7 and the rest were wallet sized. I then cut apart the Hambly overlay into the small rectangles and simply adhered the pictures.

then I strung a bit of string through a hole I punched and attached them all to the binder clip at the top of the layout. That is it..oh wait -- I also cut up some pattern paper to write what each picture was depicting (incase I forget - hehe)

After while looking through all the goodies I still had left (and still do) I saw the dress form (is that what you call it?) I knew that I HAD to do it on a page for me! This not normal for me (doing a page on myself) -- he he - but this is what I created.

And again I used one of those Hambly rectangles that I had already cut and put it on the dress form - doesn't she look cute?

Well...we will have much more for you to see in the coming days, but please don't delay getting this kit - you wont be disappointed!!

Layouts & a Project with a RAK

This PB kit I have had so much fun with. It is cheerful, summer and also can be used for Christmas...{gasp!} Who would have thunk it right?
This layout has a few products from my stash on it such as the creative cafe ticket and the MM noteworthy spiral journaling tags that can be found here and the HS crowns that can be found here and the must have mini MM alpha stickers for EVERY scrapbooker can be found here. The sweet cheeks tag came from Karen's etsy shoppe.



I glittered up my hambly tree with the stickles that comes in the PB kit and this journaling tag also came from Karen's etsy shoppe as well.



This layout was done for the Christmas Challenge that Noel is hosting on the challenge blog. This layout was done using the Jack Frost Kit. I added the hambly to the top right corner and used a KI hot chocolate mug on top of it.

Okay now for the RAK...for every person that comments on this blog you will be eligible for this project that i made....what is it you ask? Well my friends it's an ATC holder. It will hold 10 ATC cards. **Note** you can make them hold as many as you want but i just did 10 pockets** This was my very first time doing this and I must say I am hooked. Once i got the measurements figured out and right this project only took about 40 minutes from start to finish.




Now I ask you. Would you like a tutorial on this? Inquiring minds want to know :)

Love from Norway!

I really wanted to share this sweet surprise I received from my friend Kerttu who lives in Norway! How adorable is this set?! She sent 3 candy bars for my boys and this fantastic card with a very nice note inside!
I have to tell you all this brings back childhood memories for me. When my dad was in high school his family sponsored a foreign exchange student from Norway. So as I was growing up, every Christmas my grandmother would receive a big box from Norway filled with candies and other neat things! I have a very cool carved wooden box and a beautiful hand woven Christmas table runner from those boxes. So when I received this I knew it would be something great!

A boy in constant motion!!

Here's a LO I did the other night while I was making dinner at the same time. Am I the only on who does like 4 things at once?? LOL!
I used papers from the Picnic Basket kit. I added AC thickers, tiny MM letters, some creative cafe florals, a Fancy Pants overlay, some JB tickets and an in stitch button. I had taken this series of photos trying to get one "good" one of Luke but he was jumping up and down, as ususal. When I looked at them I had this idea of using the blurry photos somehow. So the journaling in the tickets reads "it's so hard to stand still when you are a 4 year old boy."

Swimming and Santa

I made this H2o bug layout using the Crate Paper Blue Hill Collection I really liked the soft colors for this layout. The alphas are American Crafts vinyl thickers I like how the die cuts gave the feel of movement on my layout, like waves in the water.




I made this layout for the Christmas in July Challenge. This picture of our cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer was so fun to scrap and reflect upon. I used Figgy Pudding patterned papers and red and gold stickles to highlight the title.

Happy birthday & HoHoHo

Yep 2 celebrations to share with you...the first is a layout completed with the Getaway kit and it came together rather quickly. This picture is from my husband's birthday that he didn't want me to scrap -- but alas I HAD to! LOL! I think the Prima letters add a great dimensional touch to the layout.
