Escape

I love taking something that isn't traditionally for a certain "theme" and making it work for it... I am so happy with how this layout turned out, even though none of these products were necessarily for the beach.... they totally reflect the happiness and peaceful feeling I have when I'm at the beach!

This layout is for my challenge that will be up on the challenge blog later tonight. Check it out and play along! I used the Madeline kit for this layout.

How Lovely

This is for the new sketch challenge from Virginia! I used my Cotton Candy kit stuff and added just a couple extras. The acrylic Prima heart with some stickles around the edge. Crate paper brads, a MM Passport clip and some Creative Cafe velvet trim.

My Guest Design Work!

I had the awesome opportunity to play with the Madeline kit this month. I was totally drawn to the pinks, vintage feel, and cool journaling embellishments.

I had so much fun playing with this kit... it was so soft and pretty- it fit my style perfectly!

The only thing I used here that wasn't in the kit was the American Crafts Thickers - poolside font. You can find them in the Noel Mignon shop here.

I cut apart the "family" stamp that was included in the kit so that I could use the flourishes seperately... turned out pretty cool!

firecrackers

This LO is done almost entirely with the new Scenic Route Liberty collection. The only additions I made were the small strip of KI lace cardstock, buttons and the piece of Hambly under the letters.

I can't get enough of the Cotton Candy Kit! It keeps calling my name! :)

This layout was inspired by a technique I saw Keisha Campbell do on one of her layouts awhile back. She had cut a bunch of holes in her cardstock base and let a sheet of lace paper peek through. I just HAD to give that technique a try when I saw the lace paper in the kit! Wouldn't it be fun to do with a Hambly Transparency, too? How fun that the kit comes with both! ;)

All items used are from the kit, except for a sheet of cream cardstock that I cut into a scalloped background, the blue ribbons and the SEI Dill Blossom buttons.
