Who doesn't love the new Collage Press?! It's wonderful to have an opportunity to play with "Knave of Hearts" while using Noel Mignon's June Kit. I used the products to create a one-of-a-kind layout about my son's recent interaction with his dad's hand-carved chess set. A year-in-a-half ago, my husband passed away from brain cancer. This was the last chess set I gave to him before his passing and this was my son's first time seeing it. It was a precious moment and one I had to capture on camera.

This is my introduction layout using June's kit. I'll be presenting a total of three layouts throughout the month of June. I'll also be showcasing them on my blog, Retrospection. Look for a new layout from me every monday of this month right here at the Noel Mignon Layout Blog.

My scrappy goodness....that's awesome! Love the papers and the way you layered it all. I really like the details...like the button in the center of the die cut!
