Hello September friends!! Michelle here continuing our design team challenge this week to add "love and laughter" to our titles. I did a little twist on the title, titling my page "fun, laughter, love" because that's the sentiment that seemed to work best for my photos. Lots of fun and laughter...which I loved :)
The thing I love (or I should say, one of the many things I love!) about Noel's kits is that there is plenty of product to use for many, many projects. Usually I'll open a kit and create 3-4 projects and there's still lots left to go back to & create more.
That's exactly what I did with this page. I wanted to finish up some of my summer layouts using the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit before transitioning to back to school. By the way, the classic kit is sold out but the Daily Diary kit is absolutely fantastic and there's still a couple left!!

Hello Sea Turtle | Summer Lovin' Classic Kit
Hello scrappers! Laura Whitaker here today sharing my last layout using the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit! This week the DT was challenged to create a layout with an older vacation photo, and as luck would have it I have a few still waiting to be scrapped from a cruise we took a few years back.
I got the idea that it might be fun to fill a turtle shell with a variety of patterned paper bits, so I modified a cut file that I had previously purchased from the Silhouette store to create an open shell design. After cutting it out of the bright green cardstock that came in the Classic kit, I started to fill in the shell with a variety of patterns.
Once I adhered the turtle to my page, I added a bit of Gesso and some water color paint effect using the Peacock Feathers Distress Crayon, to create a bit of movement and represent the water that you might find one of these guys in.
I also pierced holes and stitched around the outer edge of the turtle, using some embroidery floss from my stash.
I cut a few clouds out of cardstock for a previous layout and had one left which I added to this page after wrapping it with the Washi tape from the kit. I love that this adds another fun pattern to my page!
The sun was fussy cut from one of the Elle's Studio cut outs. I also used a couple of the Elle's Studio labels behind my photo after punching along the edge with a notebook punch.
I used a Jillibean Soup "soup label" and the Amy Tangerine alphas to create my title, adding some stitching just for fun after adhering them to my page.
For a finishing touch, I added lots of puffy stickers and a few chipboard pieces to my layout. And then added in some orange splatters created with a second Distress Crayon.
I had so much fun with the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit and am so looking forward to playing with the August kit
Supply List: (from the kit) Simple Stories, Imaginisce, Echo Park and Photo Play patterned papers; American Crafts cardstock; Elle's Studio cut outs and puffy stickers; Echo Park Washi tape and chipboard; Tim Holtz Distress Crayon; May Arts ribbon; Amy Tangerine Thickers; Jillibean Soup label; (from my stash) DMC floss; black fine tip Sharpie.
Thanks for visiting!

Oregon Coast
Hey guys, Michelle here and I'm back with a vacation layout to share. We headed to the Oregon coast a few weeks ago and I have tons of photos to scrapbook. I haven't yet decided whether or not I want to create a mini-album, do several traditional layouts, or (the most likely route) do a few pocket pages. But I did decided that I wanted one main vacation page for my scrapbook.
So I pulled out the ever awesome Summer Lovin' Classic Kit to create my page. I love those aqua alphas because there are just so many of them! It's going to take many pages before those run out for sure!
So who's scrappin' vacation photos these days?? Be sure to share in the Noel Mignon facebook group!!

Summer Lovin' Kits: Soak Up the Sun
Happy Wednesday! Jana Eubank here. This past week I have been creating projects with a combination of both the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit and Summer Lovin' Daily Diary Kit.
I'll be sharing all of them on my blog over the coming week, so be sure to check in there! Today, I'm sharing a page I created for our design team "Vacation Time" challenge, which was to pull out those neglected vacation photos and get them on paper. Here is what I came up with! (For a process video of this page, scroll to the bottom of this post.)
SOAK UP THE SUN
Every year we go to Lake Powell with my family. We stay on a houseboat for a week and just relax and play in the water. It is magical! However, because it's a yearly tradition ... I tend to neglect scrapbooking those memories. I've been making a focused effort this summer to get as many of them done and in our books as I can.

I tend to neglect scrapbooking those memories. I've been making a focused effort this summer to get as many of them done and in our books as I can.
The color scheme I went with on this page are the juicy, citrus colors of orange, yellow, and lime green. Very summer-y, don'tcha think?!
I love the little rainfall of circles to the left of the title card using the wood veneer circle and Bradz. Especially that adorable smiley face!
The wood veneer sunglasses and camera flair were the perfect icons to accent these photos of the lake.
And how cute is that little crab die cut from Imaginisce. I have LOVED all of the Imaginisce Sunny collection items we got to play with in this month's kits. I couldn't get enough of them!
Here is one last look at my page. If you would like to hear my thought process as I created this page, be sure to check out the process video below.
Have a great week!

{Vacation Pictures} and the "Summer Lovin'" Classic Kit
Hello Noel Mignon fans!!! It's Meridy here today, sharing another double page layout I made with the "Summer Lovin'" Classic Kit. This week the design team is using vacation photos on their layouts. I choose to do a layout about all of the restaurants we loved while we were on vacation in San Diego a few years ago.
I loved how to bright colors in the photos matched the bright summery paper in this month's kit!
I had so many photos & memorabilia that I wanted to use, such as business cards and menus, so I just choose a few patterned papers and embellishments this time.
One of my favorite parts of this layout is the title, I used one of the Jillibean soup script stickers that says "favorite" then I followed up with the Imaginisce letter stickers for "eats" and "treats". I used the wood veneer "&" to ties the title together. I finished the title off with an Elle Studio label and an Echo Park brad. The journaling block that says "Receipt" is from my stash.
Since I had quite a bit of memorabilia, I really wanted to figure out a way to include it all on my layout.
I decided to make a little envelope out of a piece of patterned paper to hold the menus and business cards from some of favorite restaurants. To finish off the layout, I attached a photo on the front of the little envelope since I had so many photos I needed to include!
Thank you for stopping by today!!! I would love to see some of your vacation pictures on the Noel Mignon Members Facebook Page.

Summer Favorites | Summer Lovin' Classic Kit
Hello friends! It is Laura Whitaker here today sharing a new layout, the DT is challenged with a High 5 theme! Which translates to using 5 manufacturers on one page or documenting your 5 favourite things about summer. Weill, I love to combine manufacturers and I am trying to journal more - so I went for a double challenge on my page!
My new favorite thing is kayaking, and so I really wanted to use a photo of me in my kayak to document my favorite things of summer.
From there I wanted to make a super sunshine-y page, so I started with this cut file that I designed - which was cut from American Crafts white cardstock (from my stash) and backed with orange and yellow patterned papers, from the kit.
I knew that I wanted to do a list style journal area for my 5 favs so I did a little embellishing under my photos to tie the journaling and photo together, visually.
These Imaginisce alphas are translucent and look great as a tone on tone accent, plus they are the perfect size for my "list"! My list is not in order of importance, just in order that they fit into the spaces the best.
The word 'favorites' was created using a Jillibean Soup 'soup label' that says "favorite" and piecing an "s" from a second Jillibean Soup 'soup label' onto it. They were originally a pretty green but not quite the right colour for my page, so I coloured them with a pink permanent marker and then added a glitter effect with a 'clearstar' Gelly Roller pen. It is a little hard to tell in this photo but it is so pretty and shimmery.
I finished off my page by adorning the left edge with patterned paper, brads, labels, ephemera, chipboard and stitching.
I used patterned papers from 5 manufacturers, and embellishments from 5 manufacturers, plus five journal points and that my friends is a big old High 5 triple threat!
Supply List: (from the kit) Simple Stories, Elle's Studio, Imaginisce, Echo Park, and Photo Play patterned paper; America Crafts cardstock in Geyser; Maya Road resin flowers; Imaginisce alphas; Jillibean Soup "soup label"; Elle's Studio Jonah labels; Imaginisce ephemera; Freckled Fawn wood chips; Echo Park brads and chipboard; (from my stash) America Crafts cardstock in white; Clearstar Gelly Roller; pink Bic permanent marker; black fine tip Sharpie.
So glad that you visited today! Don't forget to pop on back often to see what the rest of the DT is creating, you will not be disappointed that you did!

Summer Mini 2016
Hey everyone, Michelle here! I've been on vacation and it seems like I haven't posted in forever. But believe me I have a LOT to share over the coming weeks!!
Today I wanted to share the first part of my summer mini. I made a summer mini a couple years ago using a 4x4 album, that one focused on our summer list. This year it's similar but we don't have an 'official' summer list.
I had this striped album that I picked up several months back. At the time I wasn't sure what I would use it for but it was so cute that I had to have it! I love using these books because they're so little that they come together in a snap.
For the title page I used a 4x4 card from the Summer Lovin' Daily Diary Kit and the rest (so far) is from the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit.
I kept the pages very simple, cropping my photos to 4x4, and adding some simple embellishments. I absolutely love that fun washi!!!
Here's a few more pages:
The kits are full of embellishments so there is plenty for my mini album and my traditional layouts!
Of course, this will be a work in progress until summer is over but I can't wait for it to be totally full of our fun summer memories :)

Side note - to easily add those super thin alphas, use a ruler to place them all in line and then adhere them to your page. I just use the ruler from my planner.

Summer Lovin': Happy Summer Layout
Hello Friends! It's Jana Eubank, here to share with you a Happy Summer layout using the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit and the Summer Lovin' Daily Diary Kit.
HAPPY SUMMER
This month I ordered both kits, because I love being able to mix and match the embellishments. On this page, I use the papers and wood sun embellishment from the Classic kit. Everything else on the page was taken from the Daily Diary kit.

For the title, I cut the letters out of one of the 4x6 Simple Stories Journal Cards and popped up each letter using foam tape. I love the bright burst of color this added to my page!
I punched a couple of hearts from one of the journal cards (the pattern side) and layered phrase stickers on top of them to create these embellishments.
I layered two 3x4 journal cards together to the left of my photos and then cut the birds out from a third card. Normally, you would think of these birds as "love" birds, but here I am using them to denote friendship.
I found a pink cardstock scrap in my stash, and punched it using a border punch to add a bit more pink to the bottom of this page.
This week was the High Five Challenge, where we were challenged to use 5 different manufacturers on a page, OR scrapbook 5 things about Summer that we love. The five manufacturers I included on this page are: Elle's Studio, Simple Stories, Freckled Fawn, Imaginisce, May Arts, and A Flair for Buttons.
If you'd like to see my process for creating this page, watch the video below.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you feel inspried to create a bright, summery layout using your Summer Lovin' kits.
See you again soon!

{High Five} Challenge with the "Summer Lovin'" Classic Kit
It's Meridy here and I have a layout to share today from the "Summer Lovin'" Classic Kit! Keeping with the "High 5" theme this week, I challenged myself to use at least 5 different manufacturer's products on my layout. This is so simple to do with the Noel Mignon kits because they are so PACKED with products!
I started with paper from Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness collection and added a strip of paper from the Imaginisce Sunny collection. Once I had the background of my layout created, I used some of the yellow cardstock from the kit and punched it with a border punch to add a little interest. Next I matted the photo with cardstock from my stash and adhered that to my page.
Then it was time to really add in some more manufacturers...
I used alphabet stickers from Imaginisce and green Thickers from the "Happy Days" June 2016 Classic Kit for my title.
I layered up a Jillibean tag, the Elle's Studio puffy stickers & label, some Echo Park brads, and a vellum die cut from my stash. I topped off the Jillibean tag with a little Tim Holt Distress Crayon for a water color effect, and did my journaling right on top of that.
And with those finishing touches, my layout was complete! I believe total, I used 8 different manufacturer's products on this layout. I always have fun mixing and matching products (and past kits) to create cute layouts for my albums. That's one reason I love these kits so much, Noel mixes and matches for me, so I can just sit down create!!!

Sweet Summer Time Treats | Summer Lovin' Classic Kit
Hello scrappy friends! Laura Whitaker here today sharing a new layout using the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit! I am seriously in love with this kit, the colours are so juicy!
The DT has been challenged to document "summer sweets"! I had some photos of our puppy commandeering my sons Popsicle, taken the other week that I knew would be just perfect!
As I was prepping to begin my layout I knew that I wanted to use this fun paper by Imaginisce as a background. I love that it looks as if it is covered in sprinkles! I also knew that I wanted to create two focal areas for photos.
I cut the circle elements out of yellow patterned paper using my Silhouette Cameo, and printed up my photos to fit inside the circles. Once I knew where they were going to sit on my layout I added a bit of Gesso to fade out the pattern a bit, behind each focal area so that it would not look too busy behind my photos and embellishments.
And the rest is the fun part, adding in great embellishments! Like fun acetate, chipboard and wood pieces.
Great epoxy title stickers and Thickers for title work!
Labels, brads and epoxy stickers!
And puffy stickers, too! I went back in with a bit of Gesso and a sponge to add some extra texture to a few of the page elements and my photos. It's pretty subtle but I love the look. I also used a Distress Crayon to make a bit of "paint" to flick onto my page.
Supply List: (from the kit) Imaginisce Ice Cream Parlor patterned paper from the Sunny Collection; Echo Park Sunshine Rays, Vacation Time and Kite Flying patterned paper from the Summer Party collection; Imaginisce die cuts from the Sunny collection; Maya Road clip; Queen & Co. headliner; May Arts ribbon; Jillibean Soup tag and Soup Label from the Mushroom Medley collection; Echo Park brads from the Summer Party collection; Freckled Fawn wood chips; Elle's Studio cut outs and puffy stickers from the Sunny Days collection; Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Crayon; Amy Tan Memento puffy letter stickers; (from my stash) Gesso.
Thanks so much for visiting today! Don't forget to share what you are creating with your kits on the Noel Mignon Members Facebook page.

Summer Lovin': Lemonade Stand
Hi friends! It's Jana Eubank back with another page using the Summer Lovin' Classic Kit, combined with a few elements from the Summer Lovin' Daily Diary Kit. Today I have a fun page featuring a classic summer past time ... the Lemonade Stand!
LEMONADE STAND
First off, how could I *NOT* use that adorable Echo Park lemon paper on this page?! It was a given!
LEMONADE STAND
First off, how could I *NOT* use that adorable Echo Park lemon paper on this page?! It was a given!
In the upper right corner, I layered together several of the Elle's Studio puffy stickers, accented with the kit and phrase chipboard sticker by Echo Park Paper. I think Mr. Sun looks especially cool in his "sweet sunnies," as my daughter likes to call them!
I created a little grouping of summer sweets here on the left side of the page. The pop bottle was handcut from one of the Simple Stories journaling cards that came in my Summer Lovin' Daily Diary kit. All of the other bits and bobs are from the Classic kit.
I used the Echo Park Paper letter stickers from the Daily Diary kit to create the title. The journal card, die cut tab, and phrase sticker also come from that kit. The brads and puffies are from the Classic kit.
Finally, a quick angle shot so you can see all of the fun dimension happening on this one!
How about you? Do you have some lemonade stand photos waiting to be scrapped? Pull out those Summer Lovin' kits and get them in your books!
