Hello, it's Meridy today, with my very last post for Noel Mignon. I'm so sad that Noel is closing up shop, but so very, very grateful for all of the years of kits I have subscribed to, and so thankful to have been on the design team for 3 wonderful years!!! I have scrapbooked SO SO SO many pictures, thanks to Noel's beautiful kits.
The last layout I would like to share using "The Big Splash" Classic Kit is another summer swimming layout, of course. This kit was PERFECT for those pool pictures. I decided to make my final layout a double pager. I just love making double page layouts, even though they seem more challenging at times.
I started with the Carta Bella clothesline paper, and fussy cut 2 strips of clotheslines to create the banner across the top of my 2 page spread. From there, I didn't feel like I needed much more patterned paper, so I just put a strip of striped paper across the top.
I simply matted my photos on pink and blue paper, and placed them across the spread. I cut a strip of the Carta Bella paper with a pool on it and placed it on either end of my line of photos.
I needed to add a little something, so I pulled a couple of blue doilies from my stash, just to add a few pops of color.
Next, it was time for my title and embellishments. I made the title using the white glitter stickers and outlining them with black marker. I grabbed all of the stamps, phrases, stickers, and chipboard that I thought worked with the colors in the layout and embellished around my title area.
I hand drew the journaling lines and added a few more embellishment clusters. With that, my layout is complete.
