Pure Bliss: Fourteen

Hello, friends! It's Jana Eubank here, back to share my take on the "All in the Numbers" challenge this week. What better subject to scrap with numbers, than a birthday page? Here are some snapshots of my daughter on her 14th birthday using the Pure Bliss Classic Kit.

FOURTEEN

I was drawn to the bright colors of the My Mind's Eye On Trend 2 collection papers from the kit and used the geometric triangle paper ("Tribe" paper) for my background here. I cut thin strips of the diagonally striped "Elegant" paper and adhered them along the triangles for emphasis.

I picked up the On Trend 2 die cuts on my own and used those to layer around my photos. The gold numbers were included in the die cut pack and make a perfect title here! I used the Queen & Co. green acrylic flowers from the kit to add a bit more sparkle and interest.

I LOVE the bright coral grosgrain ribbon that came in the kit ... it adds such a luxurious texture to this page tied around my photos. At the bottom of the page, I typed out the journaling on white cardstock and rounded the bottom two corners.

Thanks so much for taking a look at my page today! I'll see you again soon!

"Pure Bliss" Classic Kit: All in the Numbers

Hello Bloggers! Lynn here with my second layout using this month's GORGEOUS "Pure Bliss" Classic Kit. I'm continuing with this week's challenge ... All in the Numbers. Simply, include a number on your layout - easy right?! Come on and join us!!
I used papers from Dear Lizzy "Happy Place" for my page. I love the fresh, summery tones of these papers and I found an instax photo that matched perfectly!! Here's my page.
I layered some papers under the doily and under the photo. (The doily is from my stash - I kinda have an obsession with them!) Here's a close up of the layering with the photo.
How cute is the pineapple paperclip?!?! I clustered some embellishments by the lower right corner of the photo.
Oh yah, the challenge - I added the year toward the bottom of my layout.
Included in the classic kit is a bottle of stickles. The color is Mint Green and I used it to add some sparkle to a few flower centers.
I loved making this page and it came together so easily with Noel's kits.
Thanks for stopping by and we'd love to have you join us in this week's challenge! I'll return next week with another page using this awesome kit! Have a great week!!

It's All in the Numbers Challenge- "Pure Bliss" Classic Kit

Hi everyone!  It's Meridy here again.  This week our Design Team is taking on a "Numbers" theme in our projects.  Our goal was to use numbers in our layouts.  I'm working with the May 2016 "Pure Bliss" Classic Kit today.  I decided to scrapbook a photo of my kids dressed up in 1950's outfits for a Spirit Day at their school.  I only had one photo of them, so I decided to do a single page layout and enlarge my photo to a 5x7.

I started this layout with the hexagon background paper.  I thought the paper was really pretty---but a bit busy to use as a large background piece.  I remembered I had a Creative Memories hexagon punch and wondered if they were the same size...low and behold, they were!!!  So I pulled scraps from my kit and a few others from my scrap bin to coordinate with the photo and started randomly placing them on the background paper.  I decided to pop the white hexagons up off of the page with pop dots to add a little dimension.  All of the other hexagons are flush with the background paper.

The embellishments on this page are pretty minimal since the background is so dynamic.  A few scraps of paper layered behind the photo, some of that amazing pink shimmer washi from the kit, the gold MME alphabet stickers for my "Spirit" title, and a finishing touch of the faux sequins were all I needed near the journaling block.

And I can't forget my NUMBERS on this layout.  The Thickers in this month's kit were to die for!!!  They were probably my favorite piece in the kit.  So I decided to use them for my NUMBERS to read "1950's".  I used the same embellishments that I used near the journaling block to round out the bottom right corner of the photo and balance out the layout.

This month's kit was full of beautiful pieces, so it's easy to see why it's already sold out.  To ensure that you never miss a kit, you can sign up for a 6 month subscription to Noel Mignon Kit Club.  Subscriptions for July-December of 2016 are open for a couple of more days---so hurry on over and get yourself signed up!

See you next week!!!

You are my happy place forever

Hello! It's Becky with you here today to share another project.

This week we are celebrating moms, grandmas, and women in general.

My kids are blessed to have a grandma who lives close by and we get to see her quite often.

I never really had that as a kid, so we like to make sure our kids get to spend lots of time with her.

She is a phenomenal woman, one who helps others to always feel loved and one who always puts her family first. I am grateful that my kids are able to get to know her so well.

I created this layout in her honor using the Pure Bliss Classic Kit:

I love the colors of this kit! They are so fun and happy. Noel is always great about adding a fun mix of patterns. I wanted to use a lot of different ones on this layout without it being too overwhelming for the picture so I simply cut strips of varying widths and used that to start off the background. I cut all of the strips 12" long and cut the same amount off of each strip. I used a few of the shorter strips at the top right of the page.

I added some chipboard elements, buttons and the cute "You are my happy place" diecut along with one of the beautiful glitter words.

Here is used a journal spot adhered with foam and I tucked some of that beautiful washi and a couple of buttons under the edge.

Thanks for stopping in!

Don't forget to scrapbook memories of those special someones in your life!

Noel's kits are just the way to do it!

My goofy crew

Happy Friday friends, Michelle here with a Mother's Day layout! Normally I don't take too may photos on Mother's Day because we don't often do much but this year we went to a Mother's Day brunch that was at a restaurant right on the water. I guess all those years of nagging that I deserve to go to a special restaurant one day a year paid off ;)
To make room for all of my photos I went with photo strips sizing my photos to approx. 2.5" x 3.5". I just love the Jillibean Soup papers in the Pure Bliss kit, they have always been one of my absolute favorite manufacturers!

To break up the green and blue a bit I added that great coral grosgrain ribbon along the bottom. Then I added a couple more coral accents to tie it all together. I like the pop of color it adds!
And since I had more journaling than would fit on a journaling tag I printed it out on cardstock and added it along the bottom of my page.

TGIF everyone!!!

Documenting Week 17 with Pure Bliss

Happy Thursday!

Danielle here to share with you a new Process Video and photos sharing with you how I documenting Week 16 with the awesome Pure Bliss Daily Diary Kit from Noel Mignon!

I included some extra inserts this week to put in some of Liam's artwork and a piece of the packaging from his new Lego set he got for his birthday!

To add some interest and texture to the page protector I used my sewing machine and stitched the gorgeous ribbon down the edge that came in the kit!

I loved the frame that was included in the kit! It was perfect to use on Noah's doodles!

I love the puffy stickers from Pink Paislee/Paige Evans that came in the kit! I seriously need another pack!
I saved one of the tags that flips open, off of Liam's birthday present, and stitched it to a 3x4 card. With it tucked in to the page protector, you can still flip it open.

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget, we would love to see you over on the Noel Mignon Facebook Members page!

Pure Bliss Classic Kit: School Shopping

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Jana Eubank here. It's a chilly, spring morning here where I am, but my kids are excited anyway because they can feel the school year winding down. Spring Fever has officially set in at our house and it is all I can do to keep my kids focused enough to finish out the school year!

I strayed a bit from this week's design team theme and went with a school theme instead, scrapping these photos I had of my daughter when we went school shopping together several years ago. I just loved the way the colors looked with the colors of the Pure Bliss kit this month. :)

SCHOOL SHOPPING

"You & Me" stickers aren't just for couple photos ... I use them a lot on pages about my kids and I and the things they do together.

Initially, I created this page on a white cardstock background ... when I went to add stitching to the background, my sewing machine went awry and I ended up trimming it out and placing it on the aqua background. You can still see some stray stitch lines across the top of the white cardstock ... I'm okay with that, because it ended up being a happy mistake ... I like these photos on the aqua cardstock better anyway! I LOVE when things work out when you don't mean them to! :D

I placed my favorite photo of my daughter inside the glittery photo frame wood piece from the kit and tied a bit of white twine around it.

I love these colorful letters included in the kit this month! When using a busy patterned alphabet like this, I tend to keep everything else on the simple side so that the letters can really shine.

Along the bottom of the photos I added the glittery Queen & Co tape from this month's kit. I zig-zag stitched through the center of it and then roughed up the edges a bit with my fingernails. LOVE the texture this brought to my page.

How is your Spring plugging along? I know it's a busy time of year with families, but it's also a great time to get some scrapping in! Come share your project with us on the Noel Mignon Members Facebook page. We'd love to see what you have been creating!

See you again soon!
