Happy Monday!
Today I have a new Project Life layout and Process Video to share with you using the Noel Mignon Picture Perfect Daily Diary Kit.

This weeks Design Team challenge is "A Little Bit of Flair". We are showing how we used the flair that was included in our kits!

And here is what I created!
I just love the colours in this months kit!
Here you can see how I added one of the flair badges to this weeks project

I included a piece of Noahs artwork

I love all the little details on this card

I hot glued the Maya Road resin flowers to this card!

I love all the different alpha stickers in this months kit!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to create something!

Documenting WK 12 with Picture Perfect & a Process Video

Happy Monday! Danielle here today to share with you my Week 12 of Project Life using the Noel Mignon Picture Perfect Daily Diary Kit.

I am going to keep my words to a minimum because this is a photo heavy post.

The Design Team challenge this week is "Somebunny Special" and we are to do some journaling explaining why they are special. I chose to write a note on my boys art work that I included this week.

Here is the week including an insert of my boys artwork.

I also used up the yellow pom pom ribbon from a previous kit.

Here are some close up photos.

Picture Perfect Daily Diary Kit: The Little Things

Happy Thursday, Crafty Friends! Jana Eubank here. This month I purchased the Picture Perfect Daily Diary kit and have my first spread to share with you today!

THE LITTLE THINGS

For this page, I chose to mostly work with the Becky Higgins "Inspire" elements. I love the soft colors and watercolor feel of these items with the beautiful brush script. They add a nice calm, continuous feel to my photos.

I really loved the coordinating chipboard elements included in the kit. They were the perfect little touch to add dimension here-and-there.

I also added silver paperclips to several of the cards for a bit of shine. The silver color of the clips picks up on the gray tones of the brush lettering, but adds just enough dimension to make things a little more interesting.

I love layering, and how cool is it that several of the "Inspire" cards in our kits already came with layers and stitching! That really makes putting together a spread quick and easy!

I used the color aqua as an accent color throughout the spread to lead your eye across the design. On the left page, I used the numbered Pretty Little Studio stickers to number my photos and label the correlating story on the journal card.

The right page has more aqua ric rac and washi tape phrases to lead your eye from card to card.

I love layering elements in little clusters on each card. Here I used washi tape phrases, die cuts, cut aparts, and embellishments. I especially love the little Maya Road white flowers with their sparkly centers.

I love the different textures included in this kit, too! The fuzzy, velvet ric rac looks awesome added to the bottom of a few photos. The shiny brads and flair are a nice contrast to the flat paper!

I found this peach clip in my stash to add to the top of another card ... it tied in perfectly!

I hope you enjoyed my design today. Thank you so much for coming by to take a look!

Happy Scrapping!

Documenting Week 11 & a Process Video

Happy Monday! Danielle here today with a new Process Video & photos to share with you using the Noel Mignon Picture Perfect Daily Diary Kit

Here is Week 11 of my Project Life

The challenge for the Design Team this week was to use gold on your projects.

I used my Heidi Swapp Colour Shine and spattered gold all over the project.

Then I used some chunky gold glitter from my stash and created a shaker pocket.

Here is a close up

Project Life Wk 10 & A Process Video

Happy Monday!
Today I have a new Project Life Spread and a process video to share with you using the Noel Mignon Picture Perfect Daily Diary Kit

This week turned into a large spread with extra inserts
The kids had lots to share this week! One of my favourite things about looking through my past years of Project Life, is the addition of my boys artwork!

I did use several ribbons from my stash, to edge the pages
Also, this weeks challenge for the Design Team over at Noel Mignon, was to use the adhesive Ric Rac that was included in both kits!

Its gorgeous! Its so plush, and its perfect to add the element of texture to your projects

Noel also included several Becky Higgins Inspire Project Life cards that were already stitched! How awesome are they?!

I had fun creating this 4x6 card, using some of the Simple Stories Carp Diem 4x4 and 2x2 pieces that I stitched together along with a 2x2 photo I printed!

I will be honest, adding all these extra inserts, and ruffled up ribbons do add bulk to my album, but guess what? I don't care, lol! I love the element of texture it gives, and I love watching my boys look through my albums, touching it.

here is another 4x6 card I created using a 3x4 card and a photo printed at 3x4, then I just stitched them together.

I also added more of the adhesive plush ric rac to my date card, and I stitched some left over ribbon from my stash to the 4x6 card below

Thanks for stopping by! I hope I have inspired you to create something today!
