Movie Inspiration

It is time for some inspiration!!!

Often times I tend to be greatly inspired by the movies

that I see now. To name a few there's the recent

Alice In Wonderland, Series of Unfortunate Events,

Avatar, and the list would keep going. All these movies

have a deep since of art to their making which moves me

in a very creative way. Another particular movie that

is so delightful is this one here!

Just look at this poster!!! TONS of color and little bits

and pieces that make you want to play. I chose to pick

up the little bits of the Julys Sun-Kissed Kit and play

along. Here is what I came up with using some wonderful

scraps!

There was a certain part in the movie where they opened

up a room in his store and it was full of bouncing balls!

There were balls of all sorts thus the idea to make a few

of my own.

Storage Tip(Card Storage)

Hi all!!! Another week has just flew by and what a week

it has been especially with CHA and all right!!! I so wish

that I could have gone to see all the gorgeousness in

person. Anyhow, on to todays storage tip!

When it comes to albums and placing my pages in them

I learned early on that it is not for me. I found myself

with all these albums either I won, was given as a gift,

or came in a kit. It is very hard for me to toss anything

and I am one of those persons again who think that

there is a use for EVERYTHING. LOL! So with that

being said I thought up a tiny idea of how to store my

cards in a photo album!

I like keeping all of my cards at about this size so this

album was perfect. My cards are constantly being

used so it is very hard for me to fill this up. It keeps

my cards safe, clean, and never have to wonder where

a specific card went. I pop this album open and they

are all there in one tidy place.

Scraplift Challenge

Hi there again everyone!!! Today I bring some wonderful
inspiration by Deanna aka DMisner! I LOVE her fresh clean
style and knew that she would be the first on my list to
scraplift. Here is one of her fantastic pages I decided to
lift.

I chose this particular page because of the wonderful design
and placement of everything. The photo is absolutely perfect
as well.

Here is my page! I twisted it a little to add my own touch

but totally kept the design concept in tact. This was such

a fun page to do and it came together quite quickly. Every-

thing clicked with this one thanks to you Deanna! LOL!

Sketch Time!!!

Hi there everyone!!! Today I come to you with my very first

project/challenge post which I am very excited about.

I created this page using the Sun-Kissed Kit(sold out) and

then created a sketch based on my page.

Here is the lovely sketch! I wanted it so where everyone

can put as little or as much on to the page. I LOVE layers

so I layered my page up!!! Shuffle it, mix it, play with it and

see how it inspires you.

Intro: Candice Reszko

Hello everyone!!! Let me start off by saying that I am truly

honored being on the Noel Mignon Design Team! If you have

not discovered already these ladies are extremely talented.

My name is Candice Reszko and was born and raised in Las Vegas

but now reside in Los Angeles. I currently am a stay-at-home mom

to three little lovelies. My goal in the near future is to go back

to school for graphic design/photography.

My passion for scrapbooking started about six years ago and I

know that this is a love affair that is going to last forever!!!

Who or what inspired you to start scrapbooking?

I remember stumbling upon Elsie Flannigan those

six years ago and was in total awe of her creative

flare. That is when I knew that this craft was

something I wanted to get to know and pursue.

Share with us any tips you have for recording memories until you get a chance to scrapbook them?

My tip is easy and simple! Start a blog! If I didn't have time

to scrapbook blogging would be my next best thing.

Even if you choose to go private or public with it the

memories and journaling will be there when you are

up and ready to scrap them!

What's the best piece of constructive criticism you have ever received regarding your artwork?

There is always room to grow and that I don't know

everything. I learned this the hard way believe it or

not in the sixth grade. I love to draw which is my first

love when it comes to art and I thought that I was the

best at it. I soon learned quite quickly that NO, I was

not. I learned at an early age that like all things art

is an everlasting growing process with wonderful

people to share and learn with. I learned that it is not

about being the best but is about inspiring and being

inspired along the way! Like Tim Holtz says,

"Enjoy the journey."
