{Sedona, Arizona} Layout with the "Enjoy the Journey" Classic Kit

Happy Monday!  It's Meridy here and I have another layout using the "Enjoy the Journey" Classic Kit to share with you today.  I loved the Simple Stories products that came in this month's kit, and really thought they would be perfect with some hiking photos that I had.

I wanted to use the starburst/graph patterned paper that came in this month's kit, but I wanted to make it look more like a "starburst".  So first, I cut strips of the coordinating patterned papers to cover every other "ray" and adhered those to each ray on the graph paper.

After I got the background of the layout completed, it was time to add the photos and embellishments. I made one embellishment cluster using the twill trim, a tag, flair, a die cut, and a chipboard sticker from the kit.  I finished that cluster off with a few stamped phrases from the roller stamp that came with this kit.

Next, it was time to work on the title.  I used the beautiful glitter Thickers and mini letter stickers that came in the kit, as the colors worked great with these papers, photos, and embellishments.  Next, I added in another piece of the twill trim, a heart die cut, a cork sticker,  and a couple of chipboard stickers.  I finished off this little cluster with a few more stamped sentiments.

I will do some journaling on the adjacent page in the album, as I still have some more photos of this hike.  I will share that layout next week.  Thank you for stopping by today!

Quiet Time: Apple Crisp Classic Kit

Hi!  Sarah here with this week's layout and challenge.  This week we are using Pinterest for inspiration.  We each made a Pinterest board and used it as inspiration for a layout.  Here is a screenshot of my board.

My board and my layout have an Outlander theme...because Outlander...

Ok, technically it's about what I like to do for my down time, but we all know it's really about sneaking Jamie Fraser into my scrapbooks.  I like to get my girls in bed and get my house settled and quiet.  Then I make myself a mug of hot tea, light a candle and turn on a fantastic TV show that I love.  In this case, it's Outlander.  I pinned some greens and browns in my board so I used the papers to play off of that.

I also pinned some mason jars and the paper with the mason jars and flowers were perfect to tie that in.  I used a few die cuts to kind of make a collage type of design around my title.

I also pinned some cork items to my board and had some cork in my stash that I wanted to use.  It was great to use it up and add some good fall-themed texture.

I loved using this month's kit and it has helped me get into the fall spirit!

{Camp Cookout} with the "Let's Get Lost" Classic Kit

Hello friends!!!  It's Meridy here, I have a double page layout using the "Let's Get Lost" Classic Kit today.  I choose some camping pictures from 2011 for my "Camp Cookout" layout.

I choose pictures that coordinated well with the mountain paper in this month's kit, then pulled a few more sheets of coordinating patterned paper from the kit to compliment those pictures.

I was able to fit 6 photos on this layout, and still have lots of room to play with embellishments, add some journaling, and add a title.

I cut apart a "camp" die cut that came in my kit and made it into a little banner to create my "Camp Cookout" title.  I dressed it up with the deer flair, a cork sticker, a tag, and a puffy sticker from the kit.  I added a few sequins from my stash to give the title area a little more interest.

I treated my journaling area the same as my title, repeating the same elements so that the layout and embellishmnets flow from one page to the next.  I used the cute stamp that came in this month's kit for my journaling block.

Finally, I made a third embellishment cluster with the same elements that were in the title and journaling areas.  This formed a visual triangle across the entire layout.  I felt like the layout needed a little more "grounding" so I punched some starburst circles from a Martha Stewart punch I have and placed them to look like scallops across the bottom of the layout.

That wraps up my layout for today!  Thank you for stopping by!  I would love to see your work on Instagram #NoelMignon.

Have a great day!

Two "Adventurous" Layouts using the {Let's Get Lost} Classic Kit

Hello Noel Mignon Friends!!!  This week the design team is working with the "Let's Get Lost" kits and creating "adventurous" layouts.  I am working with the Classic Kit

Today I'm sharing 2 layouts of pictures of my son back from 2011.  We were playing and fishing in the mountains.  I have quite a few layouts from this day, and I have so many pictures, so I didn't need to include jounaling on every single layout.  But I did want to try to fit as many pictures as possible on a few pages.  The "Let's Get Lost Kit" was perfect for these photos, this is what I came up with...

For this first layout, I used the Fancy Pants "Teal Dot" paper as the background.  I only used one more scrap of patterned paper on this layout, the chevron patterned paper by Pink Paislee.

I used a combination of an arrow stamp with blue ink,  a "+" stencil with watercolors, and some of the Heidi Swap "Ocean" Color Shine splattered on the Teal Dot background paper to create an interesting canvas.  I also used a little white acrylic paing under my title and the date to allow those to pop and not get lost in the background.

I created my title with a combination of the glitter Thickers and a few stamps from my stash.  I added a few cork stickers to the title as well.

I used one of the flair pieces and a cork sticker from this month's kit to embellish the 4x6 photo on the page.

I used the canvas banner, a date stamp, another cork piece, and one of the glitter Thickers to embellish the bottom corner of my layout.

The second "adventurous" layout that I made with the Let's Get Lost Kit is also packed with photos.  I used a "We R Memory Keepers" patterned paper as my background, and matted the entire layout on another "We R Memory Keepers" paper.

Again, I had so many photos, that I didn't need to use much more than a few scraps of the patterned papers from the kit.  I did pull the green gingham scraps from an older Noel Mignon kit. I matted all of the photos with the Kraft paper that came in this month's kit.

I used a glitter Thicker's phrase for my title "Let's Go!".

I fussy cut a few shapes from some various patterned papers in this month's kit to create embellishmnets.  I loved the Bingo card that came in the kit, so I made sure to use it here too!  My favorite part of this layout was when I realized our city "Tucson" was on the map paper!!!  It was very close to the edge but I HAD to stitch a little red heart around it.  It still looked a little bit lost, so I added some blue ink all around the heart to bring a little more attention to it.  I absolutely love this little area of the page! You can see the heart in the photo below.

Thank you so much for visiting today!  Check back on the blog all week to see other "adventurous" layouts by the rest of our creative design team.  We would love to see your work on Instagram #NoelMignon

{This Boy Loves an Adventure} with the "Let's Get Lost" Classic Kit

Hello all!  It's Meridy here.  Today I'm sharing a double page layout using the "Let's Get Lost" Classic Kit.  This kit is one of my favorites!  I love the bold colors and the blues throughout the kit.  I believe there is still ONE more of these kits in the store as of this morning.

I pulled out some photos from 2011 to use with this kit, and unlike most of my layouts, I only used one piece of patterned paper! But I also managed to fit 13 photos on this layout!

I did use lots of scraps of cardstock from my scrap bin to build up the layers.  I choose the colors based on the colors of the paddle paper.  These colors were also in my photos, so it worked out great!

I actually fussy cut a couple of designs from another sheet of patterned paper.  The blue embellishments that read "so loving this" and "let's be adventurous" came from one of the WeRMemory Keepers papers from this month's kit.  I paired them with a few puffy stickers, some glitter foam stars, a touch of washi, and some cork stickers from the kit to create some embellishment clusters.

The letter stickers I used are from my stash, I thought I needed the blue in there to make the title stand out against the busy background paper and photos.

I finished off the layout by adding a few more embellishments from the kit to the strip of photos that runs across the bottom of the left side of the layout.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I would love to see what you are creating with your Noel Mignon kit either on our Members Facebook Page or on Instagram #NoelMignon

{Rapunzel, Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair} layout with the "Delightful" Daily Diary Kit

Happy Monday!!!  It's Meridy here today with another 12x12 layout using the "Delightful" Daily Diary Kit.  I also used a patterned paper and a piece of cardstock from the Classic Kit Paper Pack for the base of the layout.   Today's layout is yet another Disneyland layout.  If you like scrapbooking Disney photos---keep your eye out for an EXTRA Noel Mignon Kit being released soon, it's exclusively Disney!!!

Onto today's layout, I really wanted the layout to feature the pinks and purples in Rapunzel's dress, so I choose papers and cards with these colors.  The dark purple cardstock is from my stash.

Once I had the papers and photo adhered, I started embellishing.  This was a BREEZE with the great embellishments in the Daily Diary kit.  I misted the Prima flowers to make them the colors I wanted for the layout, blue and lavender.  The "Magical Moment" card was PERFECT for a Disneyland photo, the cork butterfly and mini pink doily were great feminine additions to the page.

I stamped journaling lines onto the pink and white 4x6 card, punched the heart from a 3x4 card in the kit, and stamped the date with the stamp from the January Daily Diary Kit---I love that most of Noel's kits come with supplies that are reusable!

I balanced the left side of my layout with a trimmed off portion of the 4x6 card I used on the layout, added a few more punched hearts, and finished off the layout by outlining most of the layers.

Thanks for stopping by today!!!
