Tied Up With String!

Hey all! Today I am here to show you a few things you can do with your kits to wrap up cute holiday packages! I love making my gifts look a little special, and the Cable Knit kits are perfect to do just that! I have the Daily Diary kit this month, so there aren't quite as many dimensional embellies, but you can seriously make some awesome things with what is there, if you've got a mind to!

I mentioned in my reveal video that this kit has a mix of the cartooney/cutesie aesthetic and the more traditional colors, so that no matter what your taste is, you will be good to go! So I thought I would show you both sides of the spectrum here, with these packages.

Here is a gift box and a little bag I made up using a cut file on my Cameo. They are both in more of the traditional color scheme. I love the little tags Noel included, and just tied one of them right to that little gift bag. Super easy and a great use of any extra papers you have in your kit!

And here are two packages I made using more of the non-traditional item from the kit. I stole that burlap bow from a past kit, and layered up the snowflake and flair right over top of it to seal up the little gift bag, and just cut down a 3x4 card a bit to make a tag for the bigger package. I borrowed that adorable kraft tape from the Maple Creek kit to wrap both of the big packages, and I love how well it coordinates with both the tradional and non-tradional looks!

And that's all for me today! I hope you are all enjoying this Holiday Season so far, and getting all your shopping done early! I am ahead of the game for the first time, like, EVER this year, and am loving it! We shall see if I keep this momentum up...

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Birthday, Mamala!

So today is my Mama's birthday, and I figured the best way to wrap her gifts would be with my Maple Creek kit.

So I made up some little rosette's and cut some leaves and twigs with my cameo and added them to the package. The package all tied up with string from the Maple Creek kit, might I add.

And the card is also made with the kit. Actually, a combination of both the classic and daily diary kit. Love those Maggie Holmes rubons! I was actually able to use the leftover bit of rubons for the envelope, too :)

And now we're off to open these up and head out on the town for a day of fun!
