Family & Dressing Up Premade Cards

The great thing about the Getaway Kit (1 left!!!) is that you can use it for more than just vacation pages. Here is a page I did of a family photo from 6 years ago. I feel like our families are the most important people in our lives and thought the "Fragile: Handle with Care" went along with that sentiment perfectly. I deliberately stamped the camera image lightly so it wouldn't compete with the photo. I love the timeworn feel it adds to the tag grouping. The flowers are punched out from the book paper from the kit. (Blue & Cream trim and mini brads are from my stash; Everything else is included in the kit) The next thing I have for you this week are several cards. These adorable cards are available HERE, HERE and HERE. They are fabulous on their own, but by adding a few simple embellishments from your stash you can dress them up and give them that WOW-factor. :)Supplies: SEI Chick a dee Cards & Envelopes, Pink Paislee Spring Fling Clear Stamps, Crate Paper Rubons, Fancy Pants Stick Pin, tag and ric rac are from my stash
Supplies: SEI Chick a doo Cards & Envelopes, October Afternoon Journaling card, Basic Grey Cupcake Decorative Brads, Heidi Swapp Felt Flower, Crate Paper Blue Hill Punch Out Flower, String (from my stash) Supplies: SEI Poppy Cards & Envelopes, Crate Paper Rubons, Fancy Pants Lace Trim, Basic Grey Cupcake Decorative Brads, Making Memories Ric Rack (from my stash) Supplies: SEI Poppy Cards & Envelopes, Heidi Swapp Felt Butterfly, Maya Road Sheer, Basic Grey Cupcake Decorative Brads, American Crafts Vinyl Thickers, American Crafts Gingham ribbon (from my stash)

BasicGrey "Celebrate Everything" cards...

I broke into a pack of the new BG card sets this morning. These 2 cards took me probably only 5-10 minutes each!! WOW, what a "no brainer" as far as making homemade cards go! And the matching envelopes are included! Everything (card stock, PP, rub ons, self adhesive chipboard) you need for 8 adorable, made with love cards. I'll get some more made this evening and post them up tomorrow so you can see a few more!

"I Am" (Madeline Kit)

This kit is one that keeps on "giving."

I played today while the kids were at Mom's Day Out with the last bit of my Madeline kit. (Psssst- there are only 7 left- AND they are on sale.)

Since I didn't really know what to put on here for a photo, and since I had this cool photo that I took recently that I wanted to use somehow, I figured they kind of fitted together.... kind of symbolizing the blooming thoughts I have- if you want to go down that cheesy road. ;)

Everything on here is from the Madeline kit except for that crocheted lace from my Grams, the graph paper, the binder clip, and the American Crafts Glitter Thickers (I think I have just about every color and am now trying to collect every font in these. I just love them. You can find some here.)

Getaway Kit

I am having so much fun with the new Getaway Kit! So far I have used it to scrap a bunch of vacation photos, but I could also see this baby being used for lots of everyday topics, too! I have lots of ideas swimming in my head with this gorgeous kit! But here are the layouts I have done with it so far.

This layout was done for the latest challenge using the amazing sketch by Virginia Tillery. Be sure and check it out HERE and post your creation! (Making Memories Puffy Alphabet stickers are from my stash)
( Chico's Paradise; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico)
We were able to rent this lovely Villa while visiting Anguilla in January. Part of vacationing is enjoying the places we stay. Make sure to snap a few photos of the hotel or condo you stayed in. Print the photos out in a smaller size so that you can remember all of the lovely details. (Scrap of green paper from my stash)

I love taking something that isn't traditionally for a certain "theme" and making it work for it... I am so happy with how this layout turned out, even though none of these products were necessarily for the beach.... they totally reflect the happiness and peaceful feeling I have when I'm at the beach!

This layout is for my challenge that will be up on the challenge blog later tonight. Check it out and play along! I used the Madeline kit for this layout.

How Lovely

This is for the new sketch challenge from Virginia! I used my Cotton Candy kit stuff and added just a couple extras. The acrylic Prima heart with some stickles around the edge. Crate paper brads, a MM Passport clip and some Creative Cafe velvet trim.

My Guest Design Work!

I had the awesome opportunity to play with the Madeline kit this month. I was totally drawn to the pinks, vintage feel, and cool journaling embellishments.

I had so much fun playing with this kit... it was so soft and pretty- it fit my style perfectly!

The only thing I used here that wasn't in the kit was the American Crafts Thickers - poolside font. You can find them in the Noel Mignon shop here.

I cut apart the "family" stamp that was included in the kit so that I could use the flourishes seperately... turned out pretty cool!

This LO is done almost entirely with the new Scenic Route Liberty collection. The only additions I made were the small strip of KI lace cardstock, buttons and the piece of Hambly under the letters.

I can't get enough of the Cotton Candy Kit! It keeps calling my name! :)

This layout was inspired by a technique I saw Keisha Campbell do on one of her layouts awhile back. She had cut a bunch of holes in her cardstock base and let a sheet of lace paper peek through. I just HAD to give that technique a try when I saw the lace paper in the kit! Wouldn't it be fun to do with a Hambly Transparency, too? How fun that the kit comes with both! ;)

All items used are from the kit, except for a sheet of cream cardstock that I cut into a scalloped background, the blue ribbons and the SEI Dill Blossom buttons.

I created this layout using the Cotton Candy Kit and a sketch by Allison Cope. The American Crafts Red Sprinkles Thickers are from the Passionate Kit and the green striped ribbon is from my stash.

What a Doll

I created this layout with the brand new Cotton Candy Kit. The pink ribbon and the scrap of orange paper are from my stash. I also used the Jenni Bowlin Kindergarten Alpha rubons and Pink Paislee Needful Things stamps on this. Thanks for looking!

Six Flags

I couldn't keep my hands off the new kit...I had to go back in for more!! :) So everything here except the In Stitch blossom is included in the Cotton Candy Kit! All the papers are from the Basic Grey Cupcake line, which is also available for purchase in the store!
