Family Time

I love that every year my lil' family goes apple picking together. I love that we have these family traditions....and hope that we don't lose them too soon! Plus, they always make for great photo opportunities! For this LO, I used Noel's Mill Street kit. (Sold out!) I love all the country charm of many of the papers! I used my circle and scallop punches for some of the accent pieces.

For the title I staggered the letters and placed pop dots under every other letter. I love the dimension it gives it!
Hope your weekend is FABULOUS!

Harvest Pick

Here is another layout I did using the "Mill Street" Noel kit, man I love the rich colors in this kit!!
For the background on the orange cardstock I used the Maya Road leaf stamps in the kit and an ink color just slightly darker than the orange, I love the way it turned out!

Spooky Princess

This year we started a new tradition of going to Disney's Halloween Town with some great family friends. Since the trick or treating is at night and it is really crowded I didn't get too many photos - but I did get these when we got there.

I used Noel's 31st kit. The polka dot background is the transparency (make sure to take off the the protective film before using). I attatched it by stapling it to the white cardstock.

Underneath the big I place a circle a little bit smaller than the one on the transparency. It added a bit of color to the page.
To make my photo pop I made one black and white and one color. I also matted it and used pop dots to make it stand out. And can I just say right now how much those Pink Paislee alphas rock? I love them and those little swooshes add a perfect finishing touch.

Bike Fest

I used the September Core Curriculum Kit for this LO. I also added the new October Afternoon letters in RED and BLACK. And I had the Scenic Route chip circle left over from an older kit, which is mounted on a Collage Press journaling tag.
Have a good evening!

Busy, busy, busy!

I've been having lots of fun with my Noel Mignon kits.

This first one is for the new challenge that will go up on the Noel Mignon Challenge blog today. Happy Halloween!!!

I created this page using "The 31st" kit. I LOVE those sparkly chipboard pieces in there and had a great time layering the green swirls from the Pink Paislee alphas with the orange shapes by American Crafts.

Then I've been busy playing with my "Mill Street" kit. Here's what I made!

Have a great week!

Autumn Traditions

Happy Sunday...so sorry for the late post today! I was working on this and another project today and time just got the better of me. :)

I made this LO with the Mill Street kit papers, and embellis. The title is made from the flashcard and one of the Cosmo cards. I sprinkled my journaling with several October Afternoon rub ons (I like how this looks), and also added a Jenni Bowlin Sticker at the bottom and some Sassafras Flowers.
Hope you all had a great Fall weekend!

Sabriel at (almost) 2

This was made with the beautiful new "Mill Street" kit from NoelMignon! This kit is one of my favorites I've ever had the joy to play with - and I say this as a customer, not just a designer. (Hee- I feel like I'm on one of those commercials for men's hair stuff... crap, what's that called? Total "mom brain" moment right now!)

Anyways, on this particular team, we rotate which kits we are assigned, so there are some months where we have the option of buying the kit. This was one of those months for me... and as I was telling Noel yesterday, I probably should have bought 2, I love it so much! I have so many plans for it... and it's stuffed to the brim!

My Guy....

Just a few photos of my hubby and I being silly at the apple orchard. I swear that after 16 years of marriage we still haven't quite grown up! He gave the camera to our son so we could "eat" our apple.......together. Yep.....quite the romantics. : ) I used the Mill Street kit (Sold out!) for the entire LO. I adore the gorgeous papers in this kit.....and all the fun embellishments, like these felt leaves and stickers!

Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!!!

Caked with Mud

These pictures were a no brainer to scrap. Covered with mud at the pumpkin patch? perfect! I used the Mill Street Kit (3 left!)

For the title I sanded the letters and then added glue and glitter so it could have that "mud" look! I love this kit - seriously! So easy and fun to use -- Don't let this one pass you by!!!

Happy Harvest!

My girls were wearing their pink jackets when we went to the pumpkin patch this year, so I decided to play up that color when scrapping these pictures of them using the brand newMill Street kit. (just FIVE left!!!) So many fun things in this kit to layer and play with. Pick one up one of these yummy kits for yourself here.

This second page was created with The 31st kit (sorry, sold out). Every year I scrap my kids Halloween photos two times. Once for their school albums and once for our family album. This page is of my daughter Maryn in her Dorothy costume last year.

A few new LO's for Sunday

Happy Sunday! I hope you are all having a lovely Fall weekend! This past week we made our annual family trip (plus a friend) to the local pumpkin patch. We rode the little steam train, went down the big slides, jumped on the giant tires, rode the hayrides, met some animals in the petting zoo and of course picked out some perfect pumpkins! I knew that the "Mill Street" kit would be perfect to play with, and would go well with the autumnal photos! I had to add some thickers from my stash, and the bottle cap button from Jenni Bowlin. Also, I got to add one of the super awesome Tessa Ann button I received as a gift from my Secret Sis! :)
There are less than 10 of the Mill Street kits left...so hop on over and scoop one up. You will have plenty of supplies to scrap all of your family Fall photos!

I did this one with "The 31st" kit for the most part. :)

Have a GREAT week!!

Pirates and Friends

I've been a scrappin' fool this week. I think it's because I've got these TWO delicious kits from Noel, and it just keeps my creativity flowing! I keep going back and forth between the two, scrapping stuff with each one. Delightful!

These are some pics of Em from her 4th birthday party- we had a pirate party and did a little "photo shoot" before all the kids arrived. The spooky themed "The 31st" kit perfectly complements these photos!
I combined a My Mind's Eye tag, Pink Paislee rub on, and Jenni Bowlin sticker letters to make this little title accent.
Lots of red stitching and black Pink Paislee glitter add just the right amount of texture and sparkle to this layout.
Then, on a completely different note, I made a layout featuring some of my best "scrappies" (my scrappin' buddies!). We took these pictures back in August when I was largely pregnant- they have literally been with me through thick and thin! ;)
Have I mentioned yet how much I loooooooooooooooooooved the new Mill Street kit?! It is like reaching kit nirvana to me. It is the most beautiful kit, so full of the prettiest papers and packed with lots and lots of cool embellishments. Hurry and grab one before they are all gone, there are only a few left and I promise you, you will LOVE this kit.
I used some of the beautiful "Vintage Poppy" line from Lily Bee Designs on this layout. I did a little paper tearing and pleating for some texture...I trimmed two flowers off of the glittery KI border stickers to add those little sparkly accents.
