Halloween in June?

Good morning and happy Wednesday to you! Even though my brain is on the many graduations coming up, I decided to rewind time a bit and create a Halloween page of my niece and nephew. I used Noel's 31st kit and several punches from my personal stash!

Don't forget to pick up the new Sun-Kissed kit! There are only 2 left and they are going to go quick! Have a great day!!! : )

A "Terrible" layout & Grandma's Cookies

Made with a little of the 31st kit and the Mill Street kit from Noel Mignon!

The latest challenge got me scrapping some pictures I took last Christmas of my Grams & some of her famous cookies, using the Mill Street kit (Sold Out!) .

I also got to use my Grams' Silhouette machine to add a few fun elements onto it... guess what I'm asking for Christmas from Santa? ;)

Have you seen the new Limited Edition kits Noel's been doing? They are super cute! Also, don't forget to take a peek on the message boards for sneak peeks at the "Dear Santa" kit being pre-released this weekend!

Happy Thursday!
Halloween is officially over and we are making our way into the holiday season. I am enjoying the beautiful Fall weather while it lasts because I know that before long there will be snow on the ground.
I have two pages to share with you today. I'm excited about this first one because it is very RARE that we get a picture with all six of our family members in it. (I really do need to be better about asking other people to take a picture of all of us together.) We were visiting my parents on Halloween night and my dad took this picture of us. I was so excited about it that I immediately put this page together that same weekend using "The 31st" kit.

I used the fabric in the kit to create Yo-Yo's. This was the first time I've ever made them so a big THANK YOU to Greta Adams for her wonderful Yo-Yo tutorial on the Noel Mignon Tip & Technique blog! I love the way they turned out and can't wait to make more for future pages!

This second page is a random snapshot of my youngest daughter. I love the expression on her face in this photo, so comtemplative! :) Because there really wasn't a story to go along with this photo, I decided to use it as an opportunity to record a fun memory about my daughter. My favorite thing she says right now is, "Mom, I love you all the time!" :) I know it is her way of telling me that she loves me very much and I think it is so sweet!

This page was created using the beautiful "Mill Street Kit". I added a Heidi Swapp Ghost Frame to the corner of my photo as well as the Prima Rosey Gallery Roses. And if you know me, you know that I can't leave flowers alone . . . I gave the roses a wash of Gold Glimmer Blingz by Shimmerz.

Thanks for coming by today!

Costumes '09
I love that I had the 31st kit (sold out!) on hand to be able to scrap these pics of the kids in their costumes this year... it's just the best Halloween kit!!!
I love that it's not too spooky for these sweet little faces, but has plenty of whimsy and color to make it work for any costume. :)

Psssst- don't tell Thickers, but I think I might be cheating on them with these stickers from Pink Paislee. Gosh I love their glittery-ness and the different sizes!!!
*****
By the way, if you're reading this through google reader or bloglines, make sure to click on over here to see the new blog design- it looks so pretty! :)

Busy, busy, busy!
I've been having lots of fun with my Noel Mignon kits.
This first one is for the new challenge that will go up on the Noel Mignon Challenge blog today. Happy Halloween!!!
I created this page using "The 31st" kit. I LOVE those sparkly chipboard pieces in there and had a great time layering the green swirls from the Pink Paislee alphas with the orange shapes by American Crafts.

Then I've been busy playing with my "Mill Street" kit. Here's what I made!

Have a great week!

Happy Harvest!
My girls were wearing their pink jackets when we went to the pumpkin patch this year, so I decided to play up that color when scrapping these pictures of them using the brand newMill Street kit. (just FIVE left!!!) So many fun things in this kit to layer and play with. Pick one up one of these yummy kits for yourself here.

This second page was created with The 31st kit (sorry, sold out). Every year I scrap my kids Halloween photos two times. Once for their school albums and once for our family album. This page is of my daughter Maryn in her Dorothy costume last year.

Pirates and Friends
I've been a scrappin' fool this week. I think it's because I've got these TWO delicious kits from Noel, and it just keeps my creativity flowing! I keep going back and forth between the two, scrapping stuff with each one. Delightful!

These are some pics of Em from her 4th birthday party- we had a pirate party and did a little "photo shoot" before all the kids arrived. The spooky themed "The 31st" kit perfectly complements these photos!
I combined a My Mind's Eye tag, Pink Paislee rub on, and Jenni Bowlin sticker letters to make this little title accent.
Lots of red stitching and black Pink Paislee glitter add just the right amount of texture and sparkle to this layout.
Then, on a completely different note, I made a layout featuring some of my best "scrappies" (my scrappin' buddies!). We took these pictures back in August when I was largely pregnant- they have literally been with me through thick and thin! ;)
Have I mentioned yet how much I loooooooooooooooooooved the new Mill Street kit?! It is like reaching kit nirvana to me. It is the most beautiful kit, so full of the prettiest papers and packed with lots and lots of cool embellishments. Hurry and grab one before they are all gone, there are only a few left and I promise you, you will LOVE this kit.
I used some of the beautiful "Vintage Poppy" line from Lily Bee Designs on this layout. I did a little paper tearing and pleating for some texture...
I trimmed two flowers off of the glittery KI border stickers to add those little sparkly accents.

...things that go bump in the night...
My friend Kim and I consider ourselves "Halloween buddies;" we both have a love for all things Halloween and spooky. Each year we look forward to taking our kiddos trick or treating together and going to the pumpkin patch and decorating and all that fun stuff.
This year, her and her family are living in MS while her husband finishes up his Master's degree. I decided to make her a little "spooky sign" to hang in her house, using one of her favorite Halloween quotes.

"From ghoulies and ghosties and long-legged beasties, and things that go bump in the night, good Lord deliver us." (Old Cornish prayer)

I used a piece of 7 Gypsies chipboard from the Penny Arcade kit as the base of the sign. I added some orange Stickles on the letters on the Jenni Bowlin Bingo card to make them stand out. I also added some little pieces of green bling from my stash to add some more sparkle, along with a few spritzes of Glimmer Mist.
