Holiday Treats with "Oh What Fun" Classic Kit

Hello, Lynn here with my final layout using this month's "Oh What Fun" Classic Kit. It has been a pleasure to be on Noel's Design Team and I will definitely miss working with these kits each week!!
I used mostly Simple Stories papers and embellishments. Our challenge this week is "Decem-brrrr"... use something "icy" on your project like a snowflake shape, vellum, something clear and/or something sparkly. Here's my layout.
I love using vellum. I added an 8x8 piece of vellum from my stash. I love the transparency of vellum and the soft touch it adds to a project. Here's a few close ups.
I love the gold shimmer in this beautiful green ribbon! Gold sequins also add an extra sparkle on my page.
The thickers in this month's kit are perfect for Holiday pages and add a nice touch of glitter to my layout.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have an wonderful 2017!!

"Wrap It Up" Holiday Cards

Hello Everyone, Lynn here with some Holiday Cards using this month's "Oh What Fun" Classic Kit. Last week I created a tree from strips of paper - you can see that layout here. I used the same design to create some Holiday Cards. Our challenge this week is "Wrap It Up". We used both washi tape and ribbon on our projects. I used strips of washi tape and papers to create my trees and a piece of ribbon for the tree trucks. Here are my cards.
I created most of the cards on white with a kraft background. I created one on kraft with a white background and that's my favorite. Here's some close ups.
I love the translucency of the washi tape. The acrylic words included in the kit added a nice touch and dimension to some of my cards.
Of course, a few sequins and a puffy heart don't hurt either!!!!
All my cards are size A2. I love the burlap ribbon for the trunks.
My last card.
These holiday cards are quick and easy to put together. I like having handmade cards ready for that someone special.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next week.

A New Fall Pocket Page with the "All Fall" Daily Diary Kit

Hello Bloggers! Lynn here today with my latest pocket page using the "All Fall" Daily Diary Kit. Our challenge this week is "Family". Simply - create a project using the word Family. This was easy with this month's kit. Here's my page.
I used the Collect App to print my pics. The cards, die cuts and enamel dots I used this week are from Simple Stories "Hello Fall" collection. I also added some Echo Park "Fall is in the Air" Cardstock Stickers. Here's some close ups.
I love a date stamp (when I don't make a mistake!!)
I little twine on the acorn adds some nice texture.
The Echo Park stickers make great embellishments for the cards.
How cute is this Simple Stories Owl die cut! I just love him! I popped him up with foam tape for dimension so I could layer the feather under him.
Here's where the family comes in. I won't see my whole family until next week so the furry family got together for a photo opp. They all behave so nicely when there's a treat involved!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'd love to see what you create with this amazing kit. Don't have one yet ... there's still a few left in the store - perfect for your Fall photos!!
See you next week with another pocket page and a brand new challenge!

Well, Hello November!

Hello and WOW, it's November 1st. Hard to believe. Lots going on this month ... Daylight Savings Time, Election Day, Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving. A busy month for sure. Lots to document and thanks to Noel's kits, it will be a breeze to create projects to honor all the events of November. However, since Halloween was yesterday I HAD to create one more pocket page with the "Falloween" Daily Diary Kit. I used a page design I don't usually gravitate towards but I like changing things up in my project life albums. This page is dedicated to Halloween and the pics I used are of the costumes worn by my Niece's daughter Tori. Our challenge this week is 3-1 ... use three of something and one of something! so fun, right!! Here's my page using photo pocket page design D.

I used Carta Bella's "Haunted" 4x6 journaling cards for this page and 4x6 photos. The three of something is the puffy stickers by Pebbles and the one of something is the strip of washi tape from Bella Blvd. Here's some close ups ... if you dare!

I love Tori's make up - she and her Mom go all out for Halloween - here she is a zombie hippie.
This makeup is amazing .. and a bit creepy!
I cut one of the 4x6 journaling cards into two to fill in middle pockets.
Here's the final card and photo.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back next week with a new pocket page using this month's BEAUTIFUL "All Fall" Daily Diary Kit. Have a great week and enjoy your Halloween candy!

"Enter if you Dare" with the FALLOWEEN Daily Diary Kit.

Hi There, Lynn here with a new pocket page using this month's "Falloween" Daily Diary Kit. The design team has a fun challenge this week called "Enter if you Dare". We added an interactive element somewhere on our project. This weekend I went to Home Goods and loved their Halloween decorations. I used the Collect App for my photos this week. Here's the whole page.
My title card
For my interactive element I used a craft knife to cut open the door on this next card. I added a button from the kit for the doorknob - it looks like an eyeball!
When the door is open ...
Here's more close ups of my cards. Check out the cute couple...
I added some embellishments to the photos to dress them up!
Here's the last few cards.
Check out the mummy display ...
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your getting ready to scrap those Halloween pics!!
Have a great week!

Sketch Challenge with the "Buttons & Bows" Classic Kit

Hello again, Meridy here with a couple of layouts to share with you using the "Buttons & Bows" Classic Kit.  This week the Design Team is working with a sketch designed by one of our talented designers, Laura Whitaker.  You can visit Laura's blog for more sketch inspiration at http://scrappinaroundtheclock.blogspot.ca/ and her Instagram at http://instagram.com/whitakerlaura.

I decided to create 2 layouts using Laura's sketch, pictured here.

The first layout I created is a single page layout that mimics the sketch pretty close.  I decided to us the sketch as Laura created it, and you can definitely tell that the sketch was the inspiration of this layout.

Below are a few detail shots, you can see I've used the puffy stickers and ribbon from the kit as well as some of the die cuts.

I really liked the way the title turned out.  The puffy stickers in the kit worked well for this title, and the flair in the kit is super cute!!!

The next layout I created using Laura's sketch for inspiration is a double page layout.  I simply
S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D the sketch out and used 3 larger photos to make this sketch work for a double pager.  Another option would be to use 6 smaller photos, instead of  the 3 larger ones.

Here you can see each side of the layout in a little more detail.  I just loved the fact that the papers in this month's kit matched my son's "Wild Thing" photo shoot from earlier this year.

I fussy cut the words "WILD" and "brave" from one of the patterned papers to create my title and subtitle.  I used a few stickers, puffy stickers, and the roller stamp to embellish the title.

The leaves were the perfect addition to the layout, I twisted the "stems" around a toothpick to create the curly que look.

Thank you for stopping by!  Noel is giving away a Daily Diary kit to one lucky US resident.  All you have to do to qualify for the giveaway is create your own layout based on this month's sketch and put a photo of your layout in this  album on the Noel Mignon  Member's Facebook page.  Noel will draw a random name from the entries on September 30, 2016.    You must be a US resident to qualify for the prize, you do not have to use a Noel Mignon kit to create the layout (but I would love it if you did!!!)

Have a great week!!!

Puppy Love with the Happy Days Classic Kit!

Hello Blogger, Lynn here with another layout using this month's "Happy Days" Classic Kit. There are still a few of these awesome kits left in the store. Our challenge this week is Budding Inspiration. We will share what our inspiration is for our pages, whether it is the design of the page or the subject matter. This week I created a 8.5 x 11 layout. My photo is my inspiration. Two weeks ago my Mom completely surprised me with a puppy. I knew she was getting one but I didn't expect that I would get one of her puppy's siblings. I found out on my first day back at work after being out for 8 weeks. These puppies have been a lot of work but even more fun. Here's my page.

I layered strips of papers and then added a 4 x 4 photo of these adorable pups on the top of the layers. I added a little bow tie rub on to the photo. (that's Toby in the front. My girl Lola is behind him)
I added some stitching to the top strip of paper. The "better together" is from the strip at the bottom of the patterned paper. Included in the classic kit is a Postcard Stamp from Amy Tangerine. I used a portion of it to create journaling lines. I stamped the date below the journaling lines. I finished the page off with a few enamel dots to frame the photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your week and we hope we inspire you this week!!

Splishin' and a Splashin' with Happy Days Classic Kit

Hello Bloggers. Lynn here with a layout using the Gorgeous "Happy Days" Classic Kit. This month's kit is summery, fresh and there are still a few left!! Grab one quick before they fly out of here! This week the Design Team is using water somewhere on our pages. I have tons of photos of the pool, beach and ocean but this one is so sweet of my niece's daughter at the beach. I used Amy Tangerine's "Better Together" papers and rub ons from the kit for my page.
I love how fun these papers are - perfect for a summery photo. Here's a few close ups.
I bent the edges of the papers to give my page dimension. I added a few enamel dots here and there.
The chose the large title so it would stand out from the busy patterned papers.
I cut a tag and used both pieces. The top of the tag has coordinating rub ons from Amy Tangerine. The bottom of the tag says picture perfect and i tucked that under one of the lower layers - see my first photo. Come join the challenge this week - we'd love to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great week!!
