Documenting Christmas with Oh What Fun Daily Diary Kit & a Video

Happy Thursday!! Danielle here, and I am up with my last Design Team project with Noel Mignon. I was blessed to be on Noel's team for the past 18 month, and work with some talented, amazing ladies.

First up is my process

This weeks Design Team Challenge is "Decem-Brr" - use something icy - a snowflake, vellum, glitter etc. I chose too use my stickles for a touch of icy glitter.

Because this was Christmas week, I had so many photos that I wanted to document. I decided that this week needed an extra page. I chose a Design F page protector from Becky Higgins, and cut off the 3x4 pockets on right side of the page. I then stitched on some of the gorgeous ribbon included in this months kit

Here is a picture of this week, without the insert

and here are some close ups

I used some of the ends of this months ribbon, and stapled to the tops of a few cards.

Here is a close up of the insert

I added a few tags from my gifts to this pocket page. Its always fun too look back on the kids handwriting!

Thanks Noel for having me on the team for the past year and a half! I am so thankful to be a part of such an awesome kit and community!

Documenting Wk 50 with the "Oh What Fun!" kit and a Video

Happy Thursday!!! Danielle here and today I am up with a new Project Life Spread with a Process Video using the new Oh What Fun! Daily Diary Kit.

This weeks Design Teams challenge is "Wrap it Up" - use both Washi Tape and Ribbon on your project.

I used Washi on my christmas tree photo, and I used ribbon along the edge of my page, that I machine stitched on. I love the texture it adds to my project!

I love all the bits and pieces in this months kit! The gold numbers are my favourite! I also loved the snowflake acetate overlay, that I placed over my weather radar photo!

I cut Liams art in half, then trimmed it up to fit into some 8.5x11 page protectors.

This week was super busy and I had lots of photos to include

I love the colour scheme of this months kit! Red, Green, Pink, Aqua... sigh...

Documenting Wk 46 Recipe Challenge with a Video

Happy Thursday! Danielle here! Today, I am up today with a Week 46 of my Project Life combining what is left of my Noel Mignon Falloween & All Fall Daily Diary Kits!!

here is the process video

This weeks Design Team Challenge was a "Recipe Challenge" - to use the following
* 1 sheet of Cardstock
* 2 Alphas
* 3 Photos
* 4 Pattern Papers
* 5 Embellishments

I loosely played with this challenge.. For the Cardstock & Pattern Papers, I just used my journal cards. For the Alphas, I used the Simple Stories alpha stickers, and I fussy cut out the word FALL from a Simple Stories card. For the 5 embellishments I used 1)stickers, 2)enamel dots, 3) flair, 4) bobby pin/clips, 5) buttons. There was no way I could only use 3 photos, so instead my take on it is 3 vintage family photos.

and here are some photos of my spread

I always like to include some artwork of the boys! The orange ribbon is one that I had lying around in my stash.

This weeks Design Teams Challenge is to use the word "Family" somewhere on your project. I used the "Family" stickers from the Echo Park Fall Air Sticker Sheet that was included in this months kit. I placed it on the 3x4 photo of my boys.

I also used some of the brown ribbon that was included in this months kit, and ruffled and stitched it to the top of my date card.

Documenting Week 43 with All Fall Daily Diary Kit

Happy Thursday! Danielle here today and I have a new process video to share with you of my Week 43 of Project Life using the new Noel Mignon All Fall Daily Diary Kit.

This weeks Design Teams Challenge is "Pumpkin Patch - Include patches of paper on your background and include stitching"

For this challenge I "patched together" 2 3x4 photos and stitched them together.

and I also pieced some 2x2 cards together with a 4x4 photo, that I stitched together to create a 4x6 card.

Here are some close ups...

I used the gorgeous ribbon included this month, ruffled it along the edge of my page, then stitched it on.

I added lots of stitching this week

I used the Heidi Swapp "Remember" Stamp that was part of the stamp set included this month. I stamped it with Jet Black Staz On, and then use my Faber-Castell Watercolour Pencils in 451 & 467 to add some colour, then I used my water brush to blend the colours together.

How are you coming along with this years Project Life?

Documenting Week 38 with Falloween!

Danielle here! Today I have week 38 of my Project Life to share, using the Falloween Daily Diary Kit by

First up is the Process Video

This weeks Design Team challenge is Falling Leaves - use leaves somewhere on your layout.

This week my boys wanted to include some drawings. Noah drew a picture of our dogs, and Liam drew a picture of me! I also included a tag from a new shirt my husband purchased.

you can see here that for the challenge, I used 2 3x4 cards with leaves printed on them, then added one of the Pebbles Rubber Charms that is a leaf.

I found some pictures the boys drew, on their desks, and decided to include them, using a 8.5 x 11 page protector. For some added fun and texture I stitched a ruffled strip of purple velvet ribbon from my stash.

And here are some close ups
