Picnic Basket Add On, SEI, & Pink Paislee

I just love the summery colors of the Picnic Basket Add On kit! I bought this wooden star awhile ago with the intention of altering it. At first I thought of patriotic colors and ended up in a whole new direction! I painted the wooden star first with white paint. I Modge Podged the orange paper to the top after taking off the rope. I then sanded the edges. I cut the stars with my Cricut and machine stitched them. I put a cute summer photo of my niece Katie behind the Melissa Frances frame. The title was done with Glitter Thickers, (not in the kit but are sold at Noel's store!), and an old sticker from my stash that read, "sunshine." After layering all the papers and the frame, I threaded the original rope through the holes and knotted it. I added some pretty ribbon at the top.
Isn't she the cutest?
These note cards are from SEI. I added patterned paper from October Afternoon. The stamp is by Pink Paislee. I added some pretty ribbon, button, stick pin, tag, and a swirl to dress it up a bit!
Even the envelopes are darling!
