Then join me in making a few Valentine's cards with your Charm School kit!
3 cards in 3o minutes to be exact.

With Valentine's Day less than a week away, there is no time to waste!
I've got a supply list for you and some instructions to walk you through 3 easy cards in no time flat! ****
Here is what you need from your Charm School kit:
-pink and red cardstock
-the sheet of Crate Paper "love" worded patterned paper
-the sheet of Pebbles patterned paper with red pattern on one side and subtle kraft hearts on the other side

-My Mind's Eye die cut sheet
-My Mind's Eye buttons

-the 3 Pebbles layered heart embellishments

-Crate paper phrase stickers

-Crate Paper border stickers

Also grab some brown or black ink and a sanding block.

Now let's get crafting!
On your mark.
Get set.

GO!!

1. Cut red cardstock 4” wide x 11” tall. Fold in half to create a card 4” wide x 5.5” tall.
2. Cut red Pebbles paper 3.5” wide x 5” tall. Sand the edges. Then adhere to the center of your card.
3. Adhere Crate Paper pink scalloped border sticker across the center of the card.
4. Adhere a ~3/4” strip of Crate Paper “love” patterned paper above the scalloped sticker.
5. Punch out the “L” card die cut from the My Mind’s Eye die cut sheet. Ink the edges. Then adhere with foam adhesive to the center of the card.
6. Punch out the small “love” die cut from the same MME die cut sheet. Adhere it over the “L” in the center of your card.

Now on to your next one!

1. Cut red cardstock 4” wide x 11” tall. Fold in half to create a card 4” wide x 5.5” tall.
2. Cut a piece of Crate Paper “love” patterned paper 3” wide x 5.5” tall. Sand the edges. Then adhere to the center of the card.
3. Adhere the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sticker from the Crate Paper sticker sheet over the bottom half of the card. Adhere with foam adhesive.
4. Using the My Mind’s Eye buttons, adhere the bigger red button under the sticker. Adhere the smaller red button above the sticker.

1. Cut pink cardstock 4” wide x 11” tall. Fold in half to create a card 4” wide x 5.5” tall.
2. Cut Pebbles kraft/hearted patterned paper 3.5” wide x 5.25” tall. Ink edges. Adhere to the center of the card.
3. Grab the 3 Pebbles layered hearts embellishments as well as the larger pink button and the “i.love.u” die cut from the MME die cut sheet.
4. Starting ~1” from the top of the card, add one heart embellishment. Then ~1/2” below that heart add another heart. Then add the 3rd heart embellishment ~1 inch up from the bottom of the card.
5. In between the bottom 2 hearts add the “i.love.u” die cut. Adhere the pink button to the left side of the die cut.

From the Heart Week - Day 1

We have a seven very special days planned her on the Noel Mignon blog to celebrate Valentines Day!

I love Valentines so I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!

This is Lisa and I'm up first with a special Valentines Day card I made for my husband. We got engaged on Valentines Day so I always love celebrating this day!

I used the Charm School kit to make this cute pocket card. 

To make the pockets (dang, I should have taken pictures while I was making this...sorry) I cut a piece of cardstock to 5.5" x 12" and folded it twice, once at 4" and again at 8". Then I cut out diagonal portions to make the pockets. Here's a visual that might explain it better! 

I decorated the whole card before I glued/stitched it together around the outside edges.

I will write some messages on the tags before I give him the card. I wanted to keep those private so I left them off for now ;)

Cousins

Hello, Everyone! Jana Eubank here with my first page using the Charm School kit. I used the die cut paper as the base of my layout, layering strips of patterned paper to go beneath my photos. I didn't want the strips of paper to cover up the white/pink border around the die cut paper, so I carefully used my scissors to cut a slit for the strips to go underneath along the right side of the page. After I finished my design I trimmed off the excess with my scissors.

I love the way the stamping looks on the text paper! I added a few gems here-and-there for touch of whimsy and sparkle.

I ran the canvas butterflies in the kit throught my Cuttlebug machine for a subtle texture. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder on the two outer butterflies and a script texture on the center butterfly. The I used the stickpins from the kit as the butterflys' antennae.

Little House Canvas

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of altered, mixed media, off-the-page projects! 

I wanted to make a little canvas as a gift for a friend of mine, so I pulled out the Charm School kit (there are a few left!) and went to work. This is my finished product, but read below for a step by step tutorial!

I started by covering my canvas with some of the text patterned paper from the kit. I pinked the edge.  I'm fairly generous with mod podge underneath and on top. 

I cut a strip for some grass. 

And then another. 

To make the house, I cut an asymmetrical rectangle from some of the Hambly paper. I glued it on but made sure it had a little texture/wrinkles. 

It needed a cute, red striped roof. 

To embellish the grass, I poked a hole through the paper and the canvas. 

Then I threaded through one of the wire stems from the adorable little 

Melissa Frances flowers in the kit. 

I just added a little paper leaf on top to finish it. 

I added several of these, plus some fussy cut flowers from patterned paper. 

A door was added to the house. 

And then windows, with a piece of border sticker trimmed for window treatments. I also added a heart cut from paper to the front of the door. 

Then, to add paint, I used a variety of methods: 

bubble wrap stamping for clouds

A little direct-to-paper painting on the patterned paper to blend it a bit more:

some wood block stamping (with paint):

some acrylic stamping (with distress inks):

some painting with mists (on the grass): 

and on the house:

Then I used an art marker to define & blend all the edges: 

A few rub ons add some fun little details: 

I rubbed a little brown ink around all the edges and am finished! 

This was such a fun project- it makes me happy, 

and will hopefully be a fun surprise for my friend as well!

Hello everyone! Kimberly here to share a little of what I've been working on. I am having SO much fun with the new "Charmed School" kit...it's is for sure a must have too. Noel is just pure genius in putting together all the right products to create the perfect kit. I created this layout based on a sketch design for Elle's Studio...and I loved how all these products worked perfectly with this sketch.

This kit is loaded with fun new releases that are all of my favorites to work with! It's very versatile to work with! You can go Valentinesy, lovey or you can create something completely different, as anything goes with this kit! :)

Good morning folks!!

Today I am sharing another layout I made with the Charm School kit!

It took me a little while to get started on the layout though.
I had a single picture (that I stumbled up while cleaning out our guest bedroom) and a bunch of journaling that I wanted to put on the layout.
But. I. just. could. not. get. going.

So I started looking through some recent layouts to see if anything sparked my interest.
That is when I came across this page I made with the Hudson Valley kit.

Inspiration gained!
I used that layout to jumpstart my creativity, and I ended up with this layout using the Charm School kit...
