Golden Delicious Pocket Letter

Hello Everyone!  Michelle Zerull here with a Pocket Letter that I made from the Golden Delicious Daily Diary Kit.

I have had a rough month this month and it seemed as if everything was going wrong. I haven't been feeling well and I found myself becoming sad and melancholy. Then, a few days ago, I walked outside and noticed that the sky was such a beautiful blue. And then I began to look around and I noticed so many wonderful things. My roses were blooming. In November! What a gift! Right then and there I decided to quit looking at the negative things and start focusing on my blessings. That day was the best day that I've had in ages. I felt so wonderfully grateful. And that is what inspired this project.
I love adding bits of vintage ephemera and watercolor touches. And I used up the last bit of the yellow ribbon that I'd been hoarding from a previous kit. I decided to share it instead of hoard it. I love the sunny color!

Thank you for letting me share with you today.
I hope that you have a wonderful day full of blessings.

Show and Tell Daily Diary Pocket Letter

Hello! Michelle Zerull here, to share a Pocket Letter that I've put together with the NoelMignon Show and Tell Daily Diary Kit

Pocket Letters are letters that are shared in pockets! After decorating and filling the pockets, you mail the entire sheet to a friend or penpal.  It's so fun!

There are numerous embellishments in this kit, including the Crate Paper Puffy Stickers.
My Favorite!

I hope you find a few minutes today to create something wonderful.
Enjoy!

NoelMignon Country Life Daily Diary Pocket Letter

Hello! Michelle Zerull here, ready to kick off August with the new NoelMignon Country Life Daily Diary kit. This months kit is ripe with homegrown goodness. The colors and prints are spectacular!

One of the more distinguishing features of the NoelMignon kits, is the ample paper. The 6x6 double-sided sheets that are included are perfect for cutting up and using to express your own individual style. I was really taken by the rich eggplant colored print that I used here as an accent color for my Pocket Letter.
With glitter and clear glaze adhesive, I added various textures to the die cuts that are included in the kit.
There are also many soft, Summer florals included in the Daily Diary kit; perfect for mixing and matching!

We're looking forward to seeing how you're using the kit too. Be sure to join the NoelMignon Members page on Facebook and upload your latest projects.

Pocket Letter Try #2!

I've had a horrible headache today, but I wanted to go ahead and share something I'm working on with you guys (besides my top secret Main Street Magic class coming up! Eeek!)

A while back, I showed you guys a new thing I'd found called Pocket Letters. I want to try to make one every month for a friend, so here is June's with the lovely Happy Go Lucky kit!

The concept is to make a "letter" for a friend using a baseball card protector and send little odds and ends in the pockets! I wanted to personalize this one with a little doodle I made using a tutorial from the Craft-a-Doodle book. Her coloring comes from the Distress marker in the kit (and a few more that I have on hand) : I color a little on the drawing first, and then add some water with a brush. Use a light hand!

I also included a few stamped images for my friend that I thought she would like to use on her own crafty projects...

and I used one of those lovely popsicle boards from the kit as a carrier for some twine and some washi tape for her. Isn't it just happy looking?

Tonight is the last night of this sale! Take advantage of it!

Pocket Letters

So... I found a new thing.

Adding a planner, and a documented faith moleskin, and a journaling Bible were apparently not enough additional creative endeavors for me in 2015, so now I am adding this.

This is NOT Project Life, although it looks similar.

It is a letter. In pocket form.

I have friends that live all over... England, Scotland, Ireland, Bundibugyo, Alaska... the list goes on. I'm often at the post office, sending off a little letter or small package here or there.

And then I stumbled across the idea of Pocket Letters on Instagram and just HAD to do it for my friends!

It's in a baseball card protector, that can be folded into thirds and slid into a long envelope. What do you put into the pockets? Well, all sorts of things!

The design team is using this color board this week as inspiration for our projects, so I decided to do my first Pocket Letter using it as well.

I am using the Shine Bright kit since it goes with this color board so perfectly (almost like we... planned that... hehe).

I tucked in behind the cards some old notes between my friend and I... a mini book mark...

Some tea, some cute odds & ends, and a full letter.

Isn't this SO fun??! I'm obsessed. Come join our FB group and share with us your color board creations this week!
