Circle Mania

Well hello everyone. How often do you see a technique or style on a layout and you wonder how they did that and or you think it took forever to complete. Well that is one of the things I think I really love about my style of scrapping. I just love to whip things together and do layouts that look like it took forever, but in reality it probably took me like 20-30 minutes. In the layout below I used 2 small but quick techniques.

1. I took my circle cutter, and if you do not have a circle cutter and just started cutting out random circles and then I placed different pieces of pattern paper behind it and taped it down.

2. If you are like me and you get a little intimidated from using scallop edge or funky edge papers then place it BEHIND your page so that it peaks out and this way you are still able to use all the papers that you received in your kit and you will not feel like it is a total waste of paper.

From there I started to build my layout.

So try that .. and try cutting your papers w/out having a sense of direction on your page and forcing yourself to work with just the size papers and or shapes you cut out and want to use. So let's see what you come up with.

Thanks for having me .. and Happy Monday

Welcome to the team Sasha! I love your explanation of your organic style, which is so opposite of me. I have to plan things out FOREVER and my LO's don't look half as good as your...LOL! The snow photos look fab against the colors of these papers! :)
