I decided to use a mixture of things as my inspiration: the quote from one of her cards, her style of artistic layering, and the general home page design. It all incorporated into this layout.
Since the Curly Girl site is so full of mixed media, I got a little "artsy" and messed around with some inks and the distress Stickles that are included in the kit. I really had fun smearing them with my finger onto the title block, then adding them to the felt flower and the chipboard flourish. They add a really cool touch.
This is all from the new Nightingale kit except for the corrugated cardboard & strip of Narratives paper, which was in the Love Story kit, and some bling, added by my own stash!
