perfect one

Every year we're in search of the "perfect" pumpkin. We're pretty lucky in that we live in an area that has lots of farms. The farm we go to every year for our pumpkins is huge so there's a lot to choose from! Sometimes we go with an idea in mind of what we want to carve, sometimes not. You'll notice my son picked out a green pumpkin...he went to the farm knowing that's what he wanted :)

Either way, it's a yearly tradition that's a lot of fun!

I had a lot of fun playing with the Early Autumn kit for this layout and I can't wait to create more projects! It's the perfect mix of colors and I just love it!

I also do Project Life or pocket page scrapbooking which I have found alleviates a lot of the stress of including every.single.photo from an event on a scrapbook page.

On this one, for example, I just included one of each of my kids because I know that I will also include photos & journaling of this day in my Project Life album. So it will be well documented! I will also probably use different photos in my PL album that I used in this layout which gives me the opportunity to use more of the photos I've taken.
